Our little big adventure really did not want to end at Tannoch Loch. After leaving Tannoch Loch, we got back in the car and started heading home, but then we saw Drumclog Moor Car Park and something in me said, wait, why are people parking here? After leaving Mugdock Country Park and Craigend Castle , we drove over to Easterton Farm Park because of a little boy we had met earlier. He was riding a horse when he noticed how excited I was to see it and kindly asked if I wanted to pet it. Of course I said yes. While I was petting the horse, he told us about a nearby stable where people can learn how to ride, although the horse he was riding actually belonged to his friend. He was such a lovely little guy. We decided to drive over to Easterton Farm Park to have a look, but we didn't get out of the car because horse riding wasn't part of our plan that day. Growing up, many of us learned the story of Samson and Delilah through one particular lens. In Sunday school, the lesson often sounded something like this: “Delilah deceived Samson. Delilah was a dangerous woman. I remember when I went back home during the war in Ukraine, via Hungary. I had been away for a while, and whenever I returned home, I was usually quite happy to stay upstairs by myself and enjoy my own little space. I had only one of my close friends living in the same city, and I was not really the type to spend much time downstairs. But there was this young boy who was very fond of one of my sisters. Yesterday we visited Mugdock Country Park , and before we did, we had to check whether we had actually been there before. I visited Calderglen Country Park in East Kilbride on 5 June 2026, after work, because sometimes you just need to leave everything behind for a little while and clear your head. It was one of those lovely late afternoons where the greenery, fresh air and peace just make you feel better without you even trying. Calderglen is a beautiful country park stretching along the wooded gorge of the Rotten Calder, with waterfalls, nature trails, gardens, picnic areas and plenty of open space. The park was designated as a country park in 1979 and officially opened in September 1982, covering parts of the former Calderwood and Torrance estates. It is now managed by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture, with Grounds Services maintaining the open spaces and play areas. If your doctor has mentioned the term " ventricular bigeminy ,"  it might sound more intimidating than it actually is. Essentially, "bigeminy" describes a specific rhythm where your heart beats in a repetitive pattern of pairs: one normal beat followed immediately by a premature one, then a brief pause. For the vast majority of people—especially those with an otherwise healthy heart—this condition is harmless. However, understanding why it happens and what to look for can provide significant peace of mind. How the Rhythm Works The "extra" beat in this pattern is known as a premature ventricular contraction (PVC) . This occurs when the heart's lower chambers (the ventricles) fire a fraction of a second too early.
