Why didn't I share this product with all my blog readers? I mean, I was just using it until it was finished, lol. I have always liked using shea butter on my skin, but nowadays, finding good products is like searching for air in the ocean.

Let me tell you why I like the Planted Bioavailable skincare: virgin shea and cocoa whipped body butter. It feels good and just right, providing a mild yet moisturizing sensation. When I started using it, I felt like it was just because it was the first application on my skin, but no, I loved it even more. The shine on my skin and its soft, luxurious texture made me feel good. Effective skincare goes beyond product selection to include considerations such as dietary habits, clothing materials, and sun exposure.

Dry skin : Diagnosis, Treatment and Prognosis

What is dry skin?

Because of its high water content, normal skin is smooth and elastic. A minimum of 10% water must be present in the top layer of skin for it to feel soft, flexible, and "normal." Sebaceous glands in the skin generate an oily material called sebum to help prevent the outer layer of the skin from losing water. Sebum is a complex combination of fatty acids, sugars, waxes, and other natural compounds that act as a water-repellent barrier. When the skin lacks sebum, it loses moisture and feels dry. The skin will shrivel and crack if environmental factors cause more water evaporation and overwhelm the sebum's ability to prevent water loss.

Xerosis, or dry skin, is a widespread issue in modern society that affects people of all ages, including babies. Most occurrences of dry skin in the United States are caused by one or more of the following factors:

Excessive bathing or showering, excessive scouring of the skin when washing, or harsh soaps that dissolve the protective layer of sebum are all examples of lifestyle factors that promote sebum loss. In certain situations, especially among school athletes who wash multiple times a day, the outcome is dry skin all over the body. In other situations, dry skin exclusively affects the hands, such as in health care professionals, food handlers, house cleaners, homemakers, moms with diapered children, and others who wash their hands regularly.

Extreme environmental circumstances can overcome the skin's natural protective barrier, which causes water to evaporate. This is a major cause of dry skin in those who live in sun-drenched desert conditions, particularly in portions of the Southwest in the united state of America.

Reduced sebum production — Because the number and activity of sebaceous glands in the skin tend to decrease with age, this is frequently a factor in the elderly.

In the northern United States, dry indoor air can also induce dry skin and "winter itch," especially in those who utilize forced-air heating systems. Frequent exposure to wind and sun among outdoor athletes can drain water from the skin, leaving it uncomfortable and dry. Because the chemical composition of pool water pulls moisture from the body, even swimmers might have dry skin.

Dry skin is a common complaint among diabetics and those with skin allergies (atopic dermatitis). It can also be a sign of hypothyroidism, renal failure, or Sjögren's disease in rare cases. Furthermore, dry skin can occur as a side effect of many medications, particularly topical acne treatments.

Symptoms

Itching might be the only sign of dry skin, but most individuals will also notice that their skin is flaky and wrinkled more than usual. During the winter, dry skin symptoms may intensify, especially if you spend a lot of time indoors, where the heated air is dry.
Sulina Shop Facial uplifting oil review

Don't let anyone use you as a cash machine in 2024. For good skin, using lots of products isn't always necessary. Don't waste your money; let me be sincere with you. 3–4 good products on average are okay if you don't have issues with your skin. Achieving perfect skin is a myth; skin reacts and regenerates based on factors like diet, hormonal changes, weather, and allergies. Our skin serves as a barrier and protects us, so reacting and breaking out is part of a natural process. If skin issues persist, consult a dermatologist or treat them yourself with a trusted product.

Vitamins A, C, & E. Grape Seed Oil

Studies from recent years have made it clear that diet may influence the appearance of your skin. Diet and dermatology go hand in hand. There is also a study that discusses how nutrition and diet may affect our overall health. The American Academy of Dermatology published recommendations on the relationship between diet and acne.

Keep in mind that 90 percent of your skin's appearance is influenced by the food you eat. Eat well, stay hydrated, and be mindful of skincare products. Some people follow trends without understanding what the skin product is about or what their skin needs. To protect your skin, a product should:
  • Moisturize
  • Have antioxidants
  • Smooth and soften the skin.
  • Contain vitamins A, C, and E.
I personally use the Sulina Shop Uplifting Facial Oil, which includes vitamin A, C, and E and grapeseed oil with antioxidants and essential fatty acids. It tightens the skin, cleanses pores, and improves elasticity. It also contains argan oil and sunflower seed oils that hydrate and soften the skin, improving overall elasticity and rebalancing natural moisture production.

The average age of the world's population is rising due to an increase in excellent health care, a greater desire for optimal health, and an interest in total well-being. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of people over the age of 60 will more than double by 2050.

While there are several advantages to living in old age, the incidence of chronic age-related disorders has also increased. Because of the rise in lifespan, many people are looking for healthy ways to assist the aging process.
Senolytic pills have grown in popularity as people seek a better approach to aging. What exactly are senolytic supplements? Do they promote a healthy aging process? If so, how so?

What Exactly Are Senolytic Supplements?
The name senolytic, which means "old destroying," has lately been used to refer to a family of chemicals that aid in the healthy aging process. As a result, senolytic supplements are nutrient-rich compounds that are often used to treat or prevent age-related sickness and disease.

According to mouse studies, senolytic supplements may potentially help lengthen longevity.

When it comes to how senolytic supplements operate, most research indicates that they do so in a number of ways. Senolytic supplements function primarily by targeting senescent cells. Senescent cells are old or aging cells in the body that no longer function correctly.

Cells can become senescent or elderly as a result of cellular damage, cancer-promoting genes, DNA damage, or telomere shortening.

Senescent cells may congregate in the body as it ages. These cells then stop reproducing and resist apoptosis. Apoptosis is a natural process in which old cells are designed to die in order for new cells to replace them.

Senescent or "zombie" cells that refuse to die may emit toxic proteins that exacerbate inflammation, tissue damage, chronic sickness, and disease. According to some studies, a buildup of senescent cells is responsible for a wide range of disorders. Heart disease, metabolic failure, renal illness, malignancies, and even weakness in old age have all been related to senescent "zombie" cells. According to research, senolytic supplements may aid in the reduction of senescent cells.

Here are six senolytic supplements to help you age well.

Fisetin
In terms of senolytics, fisetin is one of the most powerful heavy hitters that can be found. Fisetin is a flavonoid, a naturally occurring chemical present in a variety of fruits and vegetables.

Strawberries, apples, tomatoes, and cucumbers are all rich in fisetin.

According to research, fisetin may have a potent senolytic effect.

In one investigation, human adipose or fatty tissue was utilized to investigate the efficacy of fisetin as a senolytic. The study discovered that fisetin was capable of destroying zombie-like senescent cells in human adipose tissue, resulting in a decrease in senescent cells overall.

The researchers next put fisetin to the test in elderly mice. The study revealed that fisetin supplementation might lengthen the lifespan of mice while restoring organ homeostasis and minimizing age-related diseases.

Fisetin may possibly work as an anti-inflammatory agent, according to research. Fisetin inhibited the release of inflammatory cytokines or cell messengers in one test-tube study.

Fisetin may be a powerhouse when it comes to promoting good aging, having the ability to help in the reduction of zombie cells as well as significant anti-inflammatory effects.

Apigenin
Apigenin, like fisetin, is a flavonoid found in foods such as parsley, celery, artichokes, and chamomile.

Apigenin appears to be a potent senolytic supplement, according to research. According to one test-tube investigation, apigenin can prevent senescent cells from secreting toxic proteins.

Senescent cells' toxic proteins may not only lead to an increase in inflammation. According to research, the proteins released by senescent cells may transform healthy cells into zombie cells.

According to research, apigenin is an effective anti-oxidant because it helps the body produce more glutathione.

Glutathione is widely regarded as the body's main antioxidant. Glutathione is critical in protecting cells from oxidative damage. It also helps to protect cells from toxicity caused by external chemicals, such as drugs.

As we age, our bodies generate less glutathione, potentially increasing oxidative stress.

Quinine
When it comes to working as a senolytic vitamin, quercetin is another powerful hitter. Quercetin, like fisetin and apigenin, is a naturally occurring flavonoid. Onions, broccoli, apples, and cherries are examples of foods high in quercetin.

There will be one open-label phase. A pilot study utilizing quercetin and a pharmaceutical medication monitored nine people with diabetes-related renal impairment.

These nine participants were males and females, ranging in age from 68 to 71. The participants in the research were given quercetin and the pharmaceutical dasatinib for three days, and the number of senescent cells in fatty tissues was assessed before and after an 11-day gap.

The study discovered that the combination of quercetin and pharmaceuticals significantly decreased the number of senescent cells in fatty tissue. The study also discovered that the quercetin and pharmaceutical combination performed as an anti-inflammatory agent by lowering inflammatory cell messenger production.

According to one study, quercetin supplementation may also be beneficial to the heart by avoiding age-related heart failure.

Curcumin
Curcumin is the principal physiologically active ingredient of turmeric, the golden spice. Curcumin has been proven in recent research to have a wide range of health-promoting qualities, including serving as a potent anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer agent.

Curcumin may also be an excellent senolytic, according to research. Curcumin has been shown in animal experiments to have anti-oxidant properties that may lead to an increase in life span.

Curcumin supplementation was observed to enhance the average life span of Wistar rats by nearly 40% in one animal study.

Curcumin treatment extended the maximum lifespan of the roundworm Caenorhabditis elegans by more than 20% in another animal study. C. elegans typically lives between 12 and 18 days. The study found that taking a curcumin pill increased the longevity of roundworms by more than three days.

Curcumin may prolong longevity by raising the activity of an enzyme that promotes healthy telomere lengths, according to research. Telomeres are the DNA ends. They become shorter as they get older.

Telomere length reduction has been linked to an increase in age-related disorders and a shorter lifespan.

Thistle (milk thistle)
Silybum marianum, often known as milk thistle, is a strong senolytic supplement that is showing encouraging outcomes. Milk thistle is a plant that is linked to the daisy family. Milk thistle is a Mediterranean native that is now utilized all over the world.

This extraordinary plant is frequently used to improve liver and gallbladder health, but research shows that it may also function as a senolytic supplement. One test-tube investigation involves adding milk thistle extract to senescent human skin cells.

According to the study, senescent skin cells inhibited the development and proliferation of younger skin cells. Normal skin cells became zombie-like as a result of the senescent cells.

The study discovered that milk thistle extract might remove senescent skin cells while increasing the development of younger skin cells. According to the findings, milk thistle may be able to regenerate skin cells and prevent premature aging.

Milk thistle, in addition to its putative senolytic qualities, appears to be a remarkable antioxidant with a wide range of advantages, ranging from boosting metabolism to aiding in the maintenance of healthy blood pressure.

EGCG (Epigallo-Catechin-Gallate)
EGCG, or epigallo-catechin-gallate, may aid in the healthy aging process.

Green tea contains a flavonoid known as EGCG. For years, it has been associated with optional health in many medical systems. According to research, EGCG may have some senolytic action. In one test-tube investigation, EGCG was reported to help alleviate mitochondrial dysfunction by stimulating new mitochondrial growth.

The mitochondria are the cell's powerhouse. They generate the energy required for the body to function.

Mitochondrial function declines with age, resulting in decreased energy and weakness.

According to research, EGCG may also promote healthy aging by functioning as an antioxidant. According to one test-tube investigation, EGCG can boost the production of longevity-promoting proteins by lowering oxidative stress.

EGCG may also have potent anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects.

Senolytic supplements are amazing substances that may aid in the promotion of healthy aging by killing zombie cells in the body. According to research, many natural senolytics may also have wonderful features, such as working as an anti-inflammatory or an anti-oxidant.

Including senolytic pills in a healthy aging, regimen may improve lifespan and maximum wellness for many years to come.

What is a Portrait?

A portrait is a painting, photograph, sculpture, or other artistic portrayal of a person that emphasises the face and its expressions. The purpose is to convey the individual's likeness, personality, and even mood. In photography, a portrait is typically not a snapshot but rather a prepared image of a person standing still. In a portrait, the subject often looks directly at the painter or photographer. This helps the subject connect with the audience.

Botox may help with depression and anxiety.

A study suggests that Botox injections to keep frown lines and furrowed brows from forming may help ease some of the symptoms of depression.

Botox is a popular wrinkle treatment that paralyses facial muscles with a toxin derived from the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. It is also used to treat health problems that don't show on the outside, like too much sweating, incontinence, and migraines.

But research from the past has shown that botox can also help improve a person's mood and ease some of the symptoms of depression.

Researchers looked at how 45 women with borderline personality disorder (BPD), a condition marked by impulsivity and strong negative emotions, felt after getting Botox treatments.

Dr Axel Wollmer of Semmelweis University, the study's senior author, stated: "This is a common personality disorder characterised by emotional instability and impulsive behaviour."

Patients with BPD have an overabundance of negative emotions such as anger and fear.

"We hypothesised that by relaxing the muscles in the forehead with botox, we would break a feedback loop between the face and the brain, reducing these negative emotions."

Common Causes of Hair Loss and How to Stop It.

Both men and women throughout the UK and across the world can develop hair loss. There are a number of factors that can cause hair loss, such as ageing and genetics. What is causing your hair loss can determine whether your hair falls out abruptly or gradually, or can regrow on its own. In some instances, treatment may be needed to regrow hair.

Here are some of the common causes of hair loss, as well as methods that can help in treating it.

Hereditary Hair Loss

Both men and women of all ages can develop this kind of hair loss. Hereditary hair loss is the most common type across the world. It’s known as male pattern hair loss for men and female pattern hair loss for women. Regardless of the type, the medical term is known as androgenic alopecia. This type of hair loss means you have inherited genes that cause hair follicles to shrink and stop growing hair eventually. Shrinking can start in your teens but normally begins later in life. Treatment can help to stop or slow down hair loss. There’s also the possibility that hair can regrow. However, this depends on when you start treatment.

Age

The aging process is inevitable and happens to us all. What comes with ageing is hair loss. Most people notice some hair loss. This is because hair growth slows down. There will come a point where hair follicles stop growing hair. This causes the hair on the scalp to start thinning. Hair will also begin to lose its colour. A woman’s hairline starts to recede naturally over the years. If caught early, treatment can help regrow hair in some individuals.

Alopecia Areata

Alopecia areata is a disease that begins when the body’s immune system starts attacking hair follicles. This results in hair loss. One can lose hair anywhere on the body, including the nose, scalp, and ears. Some people lose their eyebrows and eyelashes too. If you opt for treatment, this may help in stimulating hair regrowth. You can find out more about alopecia areata, including what causes it, treatment options, and how common the disease is.

Childbirth

A couple of months after giving birth, you may start noticing a lot more hairs on your pillow or brush. Try not to panic. This is common and happens to many women. Postpartum hair loss isn’t anything to worry about. In most cases, postpartum hair loss is temporary. To deal with postpartum hair loss and speed up the process, there are certain things that can help. These include getting the right nutrients in your diet, going easy on your hair, and choosing the right accessories. If you have any concerns, make sure to speak to your GP.

To keep beards looking sharp, use this beard oil recipe.

People who are growing beards understand how important it is to take care of them. While many individuals find a well-groomed beard appealing, when left alone, they can rapidly become unkempt. People who are growing a beard should take care of their facial hair by using beard oil on a daily basis. Making beard oil at home is a breeze.

There are numerous advantages to utilising this beard oil formula. Jojoba oil hydrates and soothes sensitive skin while also working to unblock clogged hair follicles. Coconut oil softens the beard and soothes itching. Meanwhile, almond oil hydrates the skin prevents acne, and kills bacteria.

This recipe also calls for the addition of antibacterial cedarwood essential oil and sandalwood.

When stored in a cold, dark spot, this beard oil mixture can last for up to a year, depending on how much oil is used daily.

Shea butter has hydrating and healing qualities that enhance the texture and tone of the skin on the face, hands, feet, and other delicate body regions. Shea butter that has not been processed has essential nutrients for the skin and is hypoallergenic.

Shea butter is a rich, buttery substance that is thick and creamy in texture. It originates from the seeds of the shea tree's fruits. Unrefined shea butter penetrates clean skin extremely well, according to numerous studies. It can be up to 60% fat, which makes it a perfect emollient and moisturizer. Unrefined shea butter has numerous advantages and uses for both the skin on the body and the face.

The Skin Benefits of Shea Butter
The vitamins A, E, and F are abundant in shea butter. The body can retain and utilize these fat-soluble vitamins as needed. These vitamins encourage collagen's healthy growth, which gives skin its supple, smooth texture. Shea butter has a UV protection factor of roughly six and can be applied to skin areas like the lips and eyelids where sunscreens might irritate the skin. It helps wounds recover and revitalizes dry, flaky, irritated, or itchy skin and hair.

Where to Use Shea Butter and How
After cleansing a scrape or cut, generously apply shea butter to the area. For relief from itching, apply shea butter to a dry scalp. To fight dry skin, use it on your hands, heels, and cracked lips. Add essential oils as needed and use them as a massage medium. When feeling ill, rub it onto a raw nose.

Why Does a Dermatologist Make Sleep, a Healthy Diet, Vitamin D, and Daily Exercise a Priority?

Many of us are attempting to improve our routines and behaviours in order to improve our overall well-being. Almost every day, I consider what I need to do to become the healthiest and happiest version of myself. This point of view gets even stronger when there are big changes in your life, like the start of a new year, a birthday, or a move in your job or where you live.

These opportunities to reassess our goals and success are critical for supporting personal growth and change. I've developed various wellness routines over the years, which I've honed, tweaked, failed at, and succeeded at. So, if you're stuck in a rut or just want to make some little lifestyle adjustments, keep reading.

Sleep">Sleep">Sleep">Sleep">Sleep">Sleep">Sleep, exercise, a healthy diet, and vitamin D are all important components of my personal wellness routine. These may seem self-evident, but I'll describe how I approach each one—and, since this is a dermatology blog, I'll focus on how each of these habits affects our skin's health.

It's a lovely Monday morning, and I'd like to give you a quick rundown of the Bliss mint chip mania cooling and smoothing ice creamy-textured mask. There are various types of beauty masks, and they have become increasingly popular as a fundamental component of facial care, with many individuals using them daily.

This ice cream face mask was given to me by a friend, and I've been using it. I wouldn't call it a miracle mask, but the result is evident. It's a product that may be used daily, at any time of day. I didn't use it much at first because I was attempting to get rid of acne spots, and I was unsure how effective or useful it would be. I was apprehensive about using a product that would exacerbate the condition.

In the last three weeks, I've used it regularly. It has been great for my skin. The texture is smooth and ice cream-like, the color is appealing owing to the minty green hue, and the scent is quite gentle, soft, and friendly, with a tender sensation.

Makeup applications should not result in outbreaks. However, if brushes are not cleaned consistently, applying cosmetics may cause more harm than good. Dirty brushes can store bacteria that can be transferred to the skin and result in eruptions of acne.

Not only are filthy bristles unpleasant for the skin, but they're also hard on brushes. Makeup residue can eventually deteriorate the fibers. As a result, clean, well-maintained brushes will last longer than ones that are not cleaned regularly.

Additionally, clean bristles perform better than filthy ones. Brushes with a thick coating hinder powders from dispersing evenly across the face. When makeup is applied with clean bristles, it applies more evenly.

Makeup brushes should be cleaned every one to two weeks to maintain skin clear, safeguard the quality of the brushes, and promote even powder application. Clean and disinfect brushes with a homemade solution.

MAY face маска для обличчя Очищуюча bubble mask

I couldn't perform my weekend facial routine because I was so busy. Today I will be sharing a brand I have used before but with a slightly different product.

Honestly, there is no difference in effect between the May face wowi oxy bubble facial mask and this Bubble 02 oxygen mask. The only difference is that the oxygen mask foams more bubbles than the wowi mask.

If you would like to know more about the Mayface facial mask read on.

According to the brand: The oxygen mask MAYFACE is designed to thoroughly care for your skin. It is formulated with milk proteins for intense hydration and softening. Liquorice root extract quickly and permanently soothes the skin, relieves redness, and smoothes peeling. After application, oxygen is released from the active agent and turns the composition into a thick foam. The mask promotes deep cleansing of the skin, minimizing pores. The oxygenated product helps to facilitate cellular respiration, improves skin elasticity, and rejuvenates it.
Тканевая маска с экстрактом кокоса Bonnyhill Coconut Mask Pack.

I am having a lazy Saturday. I was working on the blog, I needed to fix some things and so I ended up going to bed very late. My Saturday routine is a must so I got up and applied my facial mask.

Today I am using the Bonnyhill coconut moisturizing mask pack. The mask isn't so fitted on my face but it is better than a lot I have used in the past. When I applied the mask on my face it felt cold. It is said that coconut oil is easily absorbed into the skin, and provides moisture and nourishment which the skin needs. Tho, generally, it helps to keep the skin healthy.

The instruction on the mask says: After using your face, use a toner to prepare your skin. Apply the mask sheet on your face leave it for 10-20 mins and pat leftover essence lightly until fully absorbed.

What I did: After applying the masking for about 20 minutes, I removed the facial mask and used the sheet to scrub my face, slightly massaging my face to increase blood circulation.

КОЛЛАГЕНОВАЯ МАСКА ДЛЯ ЛИЦА "ЭКСТРАКТ КРАСНОГО ЖЕНЬШЕНЯ" VIA BEAUTY FACE COLLAGEN MASK

COLLAGEN FACE MASK "RED GINSENG EXTRACT" VIA BEAUTY FACE COLLAGEN MASK.

I had a very stressful week, I did a lot of impromptu things that affected my mood and appearance. I am happy I can finally sit down and share the beauty mask I am using this weekend. As I write, my eyes are swollen with eye bags. I have been itching to use a mask before I start breaking out due to the extreme stress.

Today, I am using the Viabeauty collagen series. This mask was all I needed this Saturday to refresh my skin. This beauty mask does not really do much with deep cleansing so it is better to wash your face before using it. This mask gives your skin the soft and shiny look it needs. It contains a natural extract that has an instant refreshing effect. I like my skin's shine and soft appearance after I used the mask. Using a mask is a beauty care procedure that provides additional nutrition and hydration of the skin.

PS: I recommended this facial mask for daily use.

According to the brand:
This mask is said to have natural extracts that saturate the epidermis with useful microelements, giving the face a natural glow and a rested look. The tool has an instant tonic and pleasant refreshing effect. The active formula of the mask contains the healing extract of red ginseng, which activates the skin regeneration process and improves blood microcirculation, maintains optimal epidermal moisture balance, smoothes out fine wrinkles, and prevents premature aging.

  •

How to use:

Apply the mask to cleansed skin for 20 minutes, then remove the mask and wash with warm water. It is recommended to apply the mask daily for 12 days as a start-up routine, then one mask per week.

You can purchase this mask from Makeup.ua, prostor, Eva, and avacado.ua if you are in Ukraine. In other countries in Europe, you can purchase from any drugstore.

It is a beautiful Saturday morning and I am excited to start my Saturday facial routine. Using a mask has become one of the most effective and easy ways to keep my skin glowing and acne-free. During weekdays I stress a lot and stress easily shows on our skin. Stress increases cortisol production from the adrenal glands, which in turn increases sebaceous gland activity, to produce more oil and sebum which is not healthy for our skin.

Using the facial peel-off mask to correct the outcome of stress on my skin is very effective and can be done twice every week. In today's beauty mask Saturday session, I am using the bio gold cleaning film mask by via beauty.
