3 cups flour that has sifted.

POTATO SOUP RECIPE

You'll need the following ingredients to prepare this simple potato soup recipe:

Bacon: To keep it a little leaner, I recommend using centre-cut bacon. However, any type of bacon will suffice. For added flavour, we'll sautΓ© the vegetables in the residual fat (or butter, if you like). However, if you want to make this soup vegetarian, check my suggestions for a fantastic meatless version below.

Vegetables: Onion and garlic
Flour: To thicken the soup, we'll make a roux with flour. You can also omit this step and only purΓ©e a portion of the soup to thicken it if you like a lighter soup.

Our soup's broth will be made with chicken stock and milk. You can use chicken or vegetable stock, as well as any type of milk.

Potatoes: I highly recommend using buttery Yukon gold potatoes in this soup. However, russets or red potatoes would do.

For optimal flavour, I recommend using good sharp cheddar cheese.

To make the soup extra creamy, use Greek yoghurt or sour cream.

Salt and pepper: Season your soup to taste with as much as you need at the end.

TO MAKE POTATO SOUP, FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

Simply follow these steps to prepare this potato soup recipe:

Prepare the bacon. Chop it up and cook it in a large stockpot till it's nice and crispy. Transfer the bacon to a plate lined with paper towels, reserving a few tablespoons of the remaining fat in the stockpot (discarding the rest.)

SautΓ© the veggies. SautΓ© the garlic and onion in the bacon grease until they are soft, stir very well in the flour to create your roux.

Add the potatoes and stock to the pot. The stock, milk, and potatoes are then added. Cook until the potatoes are softened, stirring frequently to prevent the bottom of the soup from burning.

Mix in the remaining ingredients. Then add the cheese, Greek yoghurt (or sour cream), and crispy bacon bits and whisk to combine. Season the soup to taste by adding salt and pepper.
Warm the dish before serving. Then top it with all of your favourite toppings and serve!

How to make banana bread?

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) and butter a 4x8-inch loaf pan.

Mash the ripe bananas with a fork in a mixing basin until fully smooth. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and the melted butter.

Mix the baking soda and salt in a mixing bowl. Combine the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla essence in a mixing bowl. Add the flour and stir to combine.

250g icing sugar for lemon icing (more if needed)
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of milk
Size of tin: 9x5”/3lbs (2lbs is also fine)
45-55 minutes at 160°C (fan)

Simply drizzle olive oil over your potatoes (I used fingerling potatoes) and season with sea salt, pepper, and garlic powder (fresh rosemary is also a nice touch!) then bake for 30-45 minutes at 425 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the size of the potatoes (I did 30 min here, but usually do 45 for sweet potatoes or other bigger potatoes). My vegan sour cream and mashed avocado (combined with fresh cilantro) were on the side. I topped mine with mashed avocado and vegan sour cream (mixed with fresh cilantro, garlic, lemon juice, sea salt, pepper & smoked paprika).

* 1 cup (250ml) gluten-free rolled oats⁣
* 1 cup (250ml) almonds⁣
* 12 soft dates, pitted⁣
* 2 tbsp coconut oil⁣
* 1 tsp pure vanilla extract⁣

Coconut oil a rectangular tart tin (35x10 cm) with a detachable bottom. Combine the oats, almonds, dates, coconut oil, and vanilla in a food processor and pulse until the mixture forms a dough. Firmly press the mixture into the prepared tart tin's bottom and sides. While preparing the filling, place in the freezer to set.

The recipe for the small vegan pancakes is as follows:
Ingredients: 65g (1 /2 cup) (makes 25 small pancakes) flour (all-purpose)
a half teaspoon of baking powder
15g sugar 1 tsp salt
10gram room temperature melted plant butter
a half teaspoon of vanilla bean paste
1/2 cup (120 mL) room temperature soy milk
apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp


To produce buttermilk, combine soy milk and vinegar. Set aside for 10 minutes to curdle.
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Whisk together the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until just blended.
Fill a piping bag with batter and pipe tiny pancakes onto a hot griddle (180C) or skillet.

You won't believe this tart is vegan and gluten-free because it's so creamy and luscious.

50g (0.5 cups) almond meal
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp agave/ maple syrup
1 tsp almond butter
30g (1.5 tbsp) coconut oil melted

1/2 cup vegan dulce de leche
300g coconut cream
250g dark chocolate, finely chopped
2 tbsp maple syrup

For the dulce de leche
500 ml (2cups) full fat soy milk
1.5 tbsp coconut cream
100g (1/2 cup) granulated sugar
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste, optional


Instructions
Dulce de leche
In a medium heavy-bottom saucepan with high sides, heat the milk on medium heat. Add the sugar when it's warm and mixes.
Add the baking soda and stir to dissolve.
When it starts to boil, lower the heat but keep it simmering.
Let the mixture reduce, stirring frequently for about 1 hour.
When it starts to thicken and gets dark, remove it from heat. Stir in vanilla and salt and let cool down over a large bowl with ice water, stirring from time to time.
Whisk and transfer to a jar. Keep refrigerated
