Bhakshak focuses on highlighting the injustices experienced by young girls who are raped, sexually abused, or murdered.

The movie Bhakshak is a story released on February 9, 2024, about a girl shelter that accepts girls not older than 18. The reporter got information about the girls being abused and retired to find information but finally found a cook who escaped from the shelter and told her how the girls were drugged and beaten. Baby Rani, who was in charge of the girls, was so strict with them and was aware of the killings and abuse going on.

The journalist Vaishali Singh, who owned a small TV channel, and her cameraman, Bhaskar Sinha, who is her assistant, tried their best to file a report to the police even when her brother-in-law, who is a lawyer, was beaten, but the police, working under strict order, refused to file a report.

The owner of the girl's shelter, Bansi Sahu, protected Sonu when the police came to arrest him and stopped the arrest. He stopped the police from going inside the shelter.

She made a video and talked about the issue, and a female police officer with a higher rank got interested and invited her to her office. They talked about how, after the visit, the police officer also invited her to her house and told her that the case needed evidence and that the man in question had a lot of governmental backing.

Summary of the Bhakshak movie

The girl's shelter is owned by Bansi Sahu; he abuses the girls and also brings men from outside to abuse the girls. The shelter warden, baby Rani, gives the girls sleeping pills and tells them they are medicine for deworming. When they are asleep, many people rape and torture those young girls. At night, baby Rani forces the girls to strip; she lies down naked next to them and abuses them. The staff that work there—Sonu, Bacca Babu, Mithilesh Sinha, the doctor, and several other men—force the girls to dance for them in several ways and show them porn. A few girls even got pregnant, and then they were killed.

A police officer who tried to force the government to look into the case got shot three times, and no one took up the case.

Watch the movie to find out the ending. To me, this movie is not just a movie; this movie is what is happening all over the world. This movie still sheds light on how the girl child is a prey in society, more like an orphan girl child. Please, if you have any information about this type of situation, never give up; justice can still be served. It might take time but don’t give up.

This is a 2006 movie that was recently added to Netflix, and I happened to watch it. Here is what I have to say about it. I found out it was a novel.

Nice plot, a cool drama about a college graduate Andrea who suffers while being an assistant to the tyrannical editor of a fashion magazine, Miranda Priestly, who is hated in the industry due to her unflexible ways. She was a boss from hell, feared by everyone. She does things like send her assistant to find the newest Harry Potter books that aren't yet in stores and serve her lattes with just the right amount of heat.

Andrea is put through a lot every day, sometimes even late into the night with orders barking over the phone. But when things get more and more outlandish and not simply unpleasant, Andrea starts to fear that the career that a million females would kill for might actually end up killing her. She must also determine whether the job is worth the cost of her soul, even if she lives.

I am not having it with the electric bill; it keeps skyrocketing, and I am not even gonna lie, I am a bit worried. Previously, I was in Ukraine, where the heating bill is so affordable and it is always on all winter, but moving to the U.K., the difference is so much. Another thing I noticed about the UK is that the windows aren't properly insulated to prevent cold from entering the house. Where I used to live, the structure of houses was built to suit the winter period more.

But, well, life happens, and we all get to move and relocate; this is also what challenges us to think outside the box and create innovative solutions to problems.

Winter isn't my favorite season, but these winter essentials will not only keep you warm but also cut down on your heating bills.

To maintain health, our bodies must maintain a core temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, so rooms must be heated to a minimum of 18 degrees Celsius. Concerns exist, however, that individuals will be unable to use heating to keep themselves and their homes warm throughout the winter months as the cost of living continues to rise.

During the cold season, people get sick due to the cold while trying to save money, and I know how frustrating that can be, which is why in this article I will be discussing 5 winter essentials that will help reduce your electric bills.

There are numerous things you can do to keep your core body temperature stable without turning on the central heating for an extended period of time.

1. Always wear socks.

Socks are essential, but not many people will agree. When you're feeling cold, it's a regular thing to put on socks. Also, wearing socks has a good effect on the temperature of your feet, but why is this so? Given that socks only cover a small portion of your body, why do they have such an impact on the experience of being cold?

Socks keep us warm by regulating the temperature of our feet. Our feet are essential temperature sensors for our bodies, and wearing socks helps prevent heat from escaping from our feet. You can double the socks for a warmer effect.

As the seasons change, dress accordingly. When you arrive home from work, all you want to do is turn on the heater, remove your warm clothes, and put on a light indoor outfit in order to feel completely at ease. When you return, I recommend that you remove those heavy, warm outdoor clothes and replace them with lighter ones. Rest for approximately one hour before wearing your warm home clothes.

The group decides to pursue cheerleading, but they face challenges, including a member breaking her leg, opposition from one of their family members, and the retirement home that voted their cheer group out. Undeterred, they persevere and achieve unexpected success after their routine goes viral. The film, "Poms," delivers a powerful message that it's never too late to pursue dreams, emphasizing the importance of resilience and the value of having an audience, no matter your age.

What sets this movie apart is its relatable characters. Every member of the cast, including the main character, displays behaviors that resonate with all of us.

Orion and the Dark

"Orion and the Dark" is about a little boy who is afraid of almost everything. He fears the dark, clowns, cell phone waves causing cancer, monsters, haircuts, mosquito bites getting infected, falling off a skyscraper, saying good morning and sounding like Goob dorning!, bees, dogs, and the ocean. He is anxious about being responsible for his team losing and terrified of locker rooms and Richie Panic, who calls him crying Orion. Richie bullies him, taking his art book and turning to a page where he has written all the things he fears, including Richie's name. Just before Richie walks away after bullying him, Orion says thank you to Richie.

He doesn't know why he did that but is quite disappointed in himself for not being able to stand up for himself.

The school had to visit the planetarium, but Richie didn't give his parents his permission slip. He fears being packed inside the school bus alongside his classmates. He is scared the bus might crash, and if they make it to the planetarium, the giant models of the solar system hanging from the ceiling might fall on him.

He really likes Lisa but can't walk up to her. He is afraid that if he goes to the planetarium, sits next to her, and their hands touch, he will have a panic attack and become a running joke around the school. So, he hides his permission slip from his parents. When his teacher asks him, he says his parents won't let him go to the planetarium and that they don't believe in space, but it's all lies.

He is also afraid of coming back home and finding his parents have sold their house and moved while he was at school. His fear is stopping him from doing a lot of things.

His dad finds the permission slip under the couch but he tells his parents he doesn't want to go. That night, his mom checks on him before bedtime. When she finishes, she turns off the light. He jumps from the bed and asks her to read him a bedtime story, but she doesn't have time, so he asks her to leave the door open so that light can come in, which she does.

When she leaves, he inserts different socket lights that blow off due to high voltage, and he panics. Of all the things he is afraid of, he is most afraid of the dark. He covers himself and turns on the flashlight, but it isn't working well. Soon, he starts screaming, "Darkness, why can't you leave me alone?" and darkness visits him.

Dark tells him millions of kids are afraid of him, but he is harmless. Dark doesn't like the way humans think about him. He says everyone is against him. He tells Orion that he is just a regular guy trying to do his job. He says people hate him, but he is just trying to do his job. He wishes people would give him a chance.

Orion feels bad for Dark and starts speaking with him. He tells Dark the list of people who bullied him. Dark wants to help him stop his fears and brings up an idea that will help him appreciate the beauty of the night instead of being terrified all the time. Initially, Orion refuses, but after giving it thought and remembering how he was bullied, he accepts, and Mr. Dark takes Orion for a night ride in the air.

They meet the night entities, and this is when the story becomes even more interesting. One thing is evident: Mr. Dark also has his insecurities, which he has to overcome.

This animation will give you a different way to view things if you fear the dark a lot but the story is a bit confusing.

It’s been a while since I shared a style post. I have shared more health content this year, but it's time to get back on the grind.

Saturday was a bit tight with chores at home, but after much was done, I had my meals during the day and couldn’t sleep early at night, even though I was tired. There was a 10-minute repair that needed to be done, and it was scheduled for Sunday morning. The repair was done, and I began to get ready for church service.

I was already dressed up when my partner drew my attention to the time, stating that before we got to the church premises, the service would have gone far. I wasn’t happy, but he suggested that I finish dressing up properly, just like I was going to church, and then we sat down in the living room and joined the online service.

I must say that was a powerful and amazing sermon by the man of God. He spoke about taking advantage of opportunities, blessed the week, and said the closing prayers. I felt like I was inside the church because I was so focused. After the sermon had ended, we went outside and took photos of our outfits. It was lovely, and I enjoyed Sunday.

The last time I visited my country, Nigeria, I made this gown. I got this material from my mom, who retails different types of materials. She recommended a good seamstress.

This style originated from the Yoruba tribe, based on the knowledge I have about it so far. It is a simple style for women, and as a child, my mom made one for me. This material is so beautiful, and I look forward to wearing it at night someday. The stones on it added so much glamour. It is a see-through lace, but I wore black underwear beneath to cover up properly. The purple and golden lace are a great combination made with embroidery. This is a high-quality material and can be worn to weddings and events in general.

I accessorized with silver and purple stone earrings I got from Tk Maxx to match the silver stones. I then wore a beautiful gold bracelet my friend got me and added a gold wristwatch to match the gold-embroidered floral designs on the dress. I wanted to add a necklace, but since the neck of the lace is already lined with a golden lace ribbon tie, I didn’t. I opted for these light gold-colored heels from Xinzirain. These classy heels elevate any outfit.

Metabolic syndrome is a common and dangerous condition that is steadily rising in the United States among adults of all ages. The syndrome dramatically raises the risk of diabetes, heart attacks, strokes, and other conditions.

What is metabolic syndrome?

The metabolic syndrome is a group of connected conditions. Three or more of the following cardiovascular risk factors are necessary for a diagnosis.

Being overweight. If, regardless of height, your waistline measures more than 40 inches for men or 35 inches for women, or if your body mass index is 30 or higher, you are at risk.

High blood sugar. Your body uses blood glucose, a form of sugar, as fuel after eating. carbohydrates are converted by the body. Blood sugar then makes its way into your cells, where it is required for the production of energy. This process is compromised in those who have diabetes or are at risk for it, which raises blood sugar levels and damages blood vessels and cells. A blood sugar level measured during fasting that is 100 mg/dL or higher is deemed high. Diabetes, defined as a fasting blood sugar level of 126 mg/dL or above, is another risk factor for metabolic syndrome.

High levels of triglycerides. In the blood, triglycerides are one kind of fat. Your risk of heart disease and stroke increases if your level is high, 150 mg/dL or above. Your cholesterol test results will show your triglyceride levels.

Low cholesterol (good) HDL. Another kind of fat in the blood is called HDL. It aids in the removal of LDL cholesterol. Your HDL is deemed low if it is less than 40 mg/dL for men and 50 mg/dL for women.

High blood pressure. If your diastolic pressure (the bottom number in a measurement) is 80 mm Hg or more, or if your systolic pressure (the top number in a measurement) is 130 mm Hg or higher, your blood pressure is deemed high. You should still consider high blood pressure to be a metabolic risk factor even if you currently take medication for it.


"Why can't I sleep?" has become a typical American grievance. Six hours or less of sleep a night is estimated to be the norm for one-third of adults, which can have detrimental effects on health. You experience partial sleep deprivation when you get some sleep but not all the necessary amount for your body. Most people function at or close to normal after just one brief sleepless night. Even though they might not feel well, they typically get through the day without anyone noticing.

After two or more nights of inadequate sleep, the effects of sleep deprivation on the mind and body become noticeable. Often, irritability and tiredness are the initial symptoms. People start to perform worse at work, especially on complex tasks, and they are more likely to report experiencing headaches, stomach issues, sore joints, memory loss, and slow reaction times. People also run a far greater risk of nodding off while operating machinery or while driving.

When someone has poor sleep for months or years, they are said to have long-term partial sleep deprivation. An increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, viral infections, and mental illness can result from this, along with weight gain and cognitive decline.

How much sleep do I need?

How much sleep is necessary for humans? The response differs from person to person. Adults between the ages of 18 and 60 are advised by guidelines to get at least seven hours of sleep each night.

This percentage may vary as people get older. People sixty-one to sixty-four require seven to nine hours, and people sixty-five and beyond require seven to eight hours. However, remember that these are only estimates, and some people might need more or less.

On the other hand, kids require more sleep. Toddlers (one to two years old) should sleep 11 to 14 hours a day (including naps), according to guidelines.
