Review – Crane cycling blue waterproof jacket

Personal Experience with the Jacket

This jacket fits me perfectly. I love everything about it – the fit, the color, the design. It even has markings that glow in the dark, which adds a unique touch and improves visibility at night. There is a zipper around the armpit area which provides ventilation, comfort, and adjustability for easy movement.

Crane Rain Jacket Overview

The Crane Rain Jacket is an affordable, lightweight waterproof cycling jacket that sets the bar for everyday weather protection. Riding in wet and inclement weather doesn't have to be unpleasant. With the right gear, you can still enjoy your weekend ride, regardless of the weather.

Design and Functionality

The original Crane Rain Jacket is a favorite among cyclists, providing lightweight yet fully waterproof protection. The jacket is made from lightweight, fully-waterproof fabric with taped seams, featuring a YKK AquaGuard® zipper. This ensures it can withstand downpours during your ride without causing overheating in mild but wet conditions. However, it's not meant to keep you warm in colder climates – layering with a warmer biker jacket is necessary. I found it cold when I returned home, despite wearing a black tee and sweater underneath. It's ideal for cold summer nights.

Packability and Convenience

Packability is a key feature of this jacket. It's designed to be stowable in a jersey pocket, making it easy to pull out and wear when needed. This makes it perfect for bikepacking and bicycle touring, where space is limited. The cuffs are adjustable to create a more watertight seal at the wrists. The hoodie is also a good addition.

Personal Use and Recommendation

I've enjoyed wearing the Crane blue biking jacket. It's comfortable, protective, stylish, and impressively breathable for a mid-range waterproof jacket.

“He Asked For Wisdom” Monday, June 16, 2025

Key Verse “Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?” (2 Chronicles 1:10) Text —2 Chronicles 1:1-10 Message William Shakespeare says, “The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.” When God gave Solomon the opportunity as “king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude” (verse 9) to ask what He would give him, Solomon knew he needed wisdom to reign in David his father’s stead. So, instead of asking for riches, power, and other mundane things of this life like the people of the world would do, he asked for wisdom. The Scripture admonishes young people saying, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil” (Proverbs 3:5-7). We all know the sinking feeling we have when we do something poorly. Lack of wisdom brings disgrace and pain but wisdom in trials makes us useful to God and to fellow men. Only wise young people strive to serve God well and have great influence for greater good. Quote Lack of wisdom brings disgrace Challenge Allow God to direct your paths. Prayer for today Dear God, grant me more wisdom, in Jesus’ name.
