Many of us are attempting to improve our routines and behaviours in order to improve our overall well-being. Almost every day, I consider what I need to do to become the healthiest and happiest version of myself. It's a lovely Monday morning, and I'd like to give you a quick rundown of the Bliss mint chip mania cooling and smoothing ice creamy-textured mask. There are various types of beauty masks, and they have become increasingly popular as a fundamental component of facial care, with many individuals using them daily.

This ice cream face mask was given to me by a friend, and I've been using it. I wouldn't call it a miracle mask, but the result is evident. It's a product that may be used daily, at any time of day. I didn't use it much at first because I was attempting to get rid of acne spots, and I was unsure how effective or useful it would be. I was apprehensive about using a product that would exacerbate the condition.

In the last three weeks, I've used it regularly. It has been great for my skin. The texture is smooth and ice cream-like, the color is appealing owing to the minty green hue, and the scent is quite gentle, soft, and friendly, with a tender sensation.

Five products can be used to make beauty products at home.

We all enjoy pampering ourselves at home with skin care. While going to the spa is a luxury to look forward to on special occasions, taking care of your skin at home is more convenient, and less expensive, and you have more control over the products and treatments you use. Ideas for pampering yourself from the comfort of your own home can be especially enticing today that many people still work from home, as you can work or take care of family chores while taking care of yourself.

Such face and body treatments have a long list of verified advantages. Self-care treatments have been shown to lower blood pressure, relieve muscle tension, improve mood, cleanse, and relieve stress, to name a few health benefits. While many daily behaviors, such as food choices, exercise, and weight management, can affect these health indicators, simple routines performed in the comfort of your own home are an easy and practical method to improve your well-being. Here are five common household items that can be used to make easy cosmetic products and treatments.

Essential oils

Do you enjoy the aroma of spa treatments? The scents of lavender and eucalyptus, which are frequently used in spa treatments, are considered to be relaxing. Essential oils can be used to generate the same relaxing experience at home as part of a spa day. In my experience, applying essential oils to a moist cloth or tiny towel, which may subsequently be utilized in a variety of ways, is one of the greatest ways to accomplish this effect. Fill a bowl with ice water, add your favorite essential oil, dampen a cloth, and squeeze away the excess water. Form a tight rollout of a napkin or towel and store it in an airtight container. Simply take it out of the fridge and apply it on your face for a few minutes or wipe your hands when you're ready for your spa treatment. If you like, you may warm the rolls in the microwave for a minute to make them more delightful on a cold winter day.

There are so many essential oils to choose from that there is something for everyone! To unwind before bed, use lavender oil as part of your evening ritual. Use peppermint or spearmint oil to help you wake up in the morning, or a combination of eucalyptus, lemon, and lavender oils on your towel to produce a perfume that reminds you of your favorite spa.

Turmeric Powder

How to make a Turmeric face mask?

Perhaps you're familiar with turmeric as the spice that gives curry sauce its distinctive yellow hue, or you've seen fresh turmeric root on the grocery store shelf next to ginger. Although turmeric has been used in medicine and food for many decades around the world, its popularity has grown in recent years as the health advantages and uses of this plant have become better known. Curcumin, a substance found in turmeric, is responsible for many of the spice's health benefits. Turmeric's antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are two of the most important health advantages, which is why turmeric pills are so popular. While turmeric can enhance the flavor, color, and health benefits of food, it can also be used as a spice.

Turmeric can help lighten dark circles beneath the eyes when used in DIY beauty products. Low fluid intake, lack of sleep, and even heredity can all contribute to dark circles. While it's vital to think about lifestyle factors that can cause dark circles, such as dehydration and lack of sleep, a turmeric-based eye mask can assist in the meantime. To make a paste, combine one tablespoon of ground turmeric with one tablespoon of buttermilk and mix it into a paste. Apply the paste beneath the eyes gently and leave for 15 minutes. To gently remove the paste, dampen a towel with warm water. Turmeric stains, so keep that in mind.

Coconut oil

A hair mask is an excellent technique to hydrate your hair and make it smoother and less frizzy. It can even be used to treat dandruff and soothe a dry scalp. There are a variety of components that can be beneficial in a hair mask, but the most common one is oil. Many oils, such as olive and avocado oil, can help improve the quality and appearance of hair, but coconut oil is thought to be the most beneficial.

Coconut oil is a good base for hair masks, according to hair experts, and it helps hair look healthier, thicker, and longer. Coconut oil is also said to have a calming impact on hair cuticles, nourishes the scalp, and smooth split ends, according to experts. Coconut oil can be used in a variety of ways to boost hair health. To boost the healing properties of liquid coconut oil, simply apply it to your hair and let it on for 30 minutes or overnight. A moisturizing mask can also be made by combining coconut oil (approximately two teaspoons) with honey and an egg. Whatever mask you choose, make sure to massage it gently from the roots to the ends of your hair. Please keep in mind that you may need to shampoo twice to thoroughly eliminate the oil from your hair after removing the mask, but the moisturizing effect will stay.

Years spent in the sun start to mount up as you get older. Age spots (also known as liver spots or solar lentigo) are pigment accumulation caused by sun exposure. The pigment is produced in response to harm, much like a scar is produced in response to a cut. The pigment gathers in regions that have been damaged by thin skin or excessive sun exposure. Bruising that leaves blood pigment behind can also develop age spots. They are especially prevalent in adults over the age of 55. The spots are most usually found on the hands, but they can also form on the face, back, arms, feet, and shoulders, as well as other sun-exposed areas.

People with age spots known as solar lentigo

Symptoms

The emergence of black spots on the skin is the only symptom. They don't itch and aren't painful.

Diagnosis

Age spots are self-diagnosable based on their appearance. Contact your doctor if you are concerned about changes in your skin. He or she can conduct testing to rule out the presence of other diseases.

Expected Timeframe

Most age spots fade with time, but because the skin has been injured, they are unlikely to remove completely.

Scar formation is analogous to the development of age spots in that scars are typically heaped up as they occur and soften as they "remodel" over time.

Sunscreen manufacturers withdraw products found to contain a cancer-causing substance

Current-events briefings

The sunscreen aisle has been affected by recalls of drugs containing carcinogens (substances that cause cancer). Johnson & Johnson recalled five aerosol sunscreen products and CVS discontinued two sunscreen products in July 2021 due to the presence of the carcinogen benzene. The FDA initiated the investigation when an online pharmacy identified benzene levels in dozens of sunscreen products and contacted the agency. Additionally, the same pharmacy (Valisure LLC) was responsible for testing that resulted in the recall of heartburn and diabetic medications in 2019 and 2020 due to the presence of the carcinogen N-nitrosodimethylamine. Johnson & Johnson officials claim that benzene is not a sunscreen ingredient and confirm that subsequent testing discovered benzene in select products at levels expected to pose no health hazards.

Lady taking your bath

Taking your bath in the morning has different health benefits which you might be overlooking. Here are reasons why you should have your bath in the morning.

Skin Care Improvements

While it is critical to remove the day's makeup, oil, dirt, and pollutants before bed, if you only cleanse your face and body at night, you are missing a trick. stimulating skin cells in the morning by cleansing and massaging the face with warm water is also critical – especially for oily or acne-prone skin.

Cortisol Levels Are Reduced

Taking a morning bath allows you to meditate and regroup before beginning a hectic day. It is a period of mindfulness that can help maintain healthy cortisol levels – the body's stress hormone.

Our cortisol levels rise naturally in the early hours of the morning, peaking around 8 a.m., in the ideal situation. However, when we are stressed, cortisol levels can spike abnormally high, causing us to wake up before our alarm or to wake up already feeling anxious. Along with attempting to eliminate stressors from your life, a relaxing morning bath may help lower those skyrocketing cortisol levels and help you begin your day in a more relaxed state of mind.

Makeup applications should not result in outbreaks. However, if brushes are not cleaned consistently, applying cosmetics may cause more harm than good. Dirty brushes can store bacteria that can be transferred to the skin and result in eruptions of acne.

Not only are filthy bristles unpleasant for the skin, but they're also hard on brushes. Makeup residue can eventually deteriorate the fibers. As a result, clean, well-maintained brushes will last longer than ones that are not cleaned regularly.

Additionally, clean bristles perform better than filthy ones. Brushes with a thick coating hinder powders from dispersing evenly across the face. When makeup is applied with clean bristles, it applies more evenly.

Makeup brushes should be cleaned every one to two weeks to maintain skin clear, safeguard the quality of the brushes, and promote even powder application. Clean and disinfect brushes with a homemade solution.

Vitamin C is a dermatologist-recommended component with scientific backing that may help decrease the onset of early skin aging, prevent UV damage, and improve the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, and acne.

Vitamin C is a dermatologist-recommended component with scientific backing that may help decrease the onset of early skin aging, prevent UV damage, and improve the appearance of wrinkles, dark spots, and acne. Vitamin C is an antioxidant, which means that it combats damaging free radicals (toxins) that come into contact with your skin from external sources such as air pollution or from within the body as a result of regular metabolic processes. Free radicals can cause damage to the skin, and topical vitamin C can help battle free radicals and enhance the overall appearance of the skin.

Skin benefits of vitamin C

Vitamin C has been shown in a few clinical tests to improve wrinkles. Daily usage of a vitamin C formulation for at least three months enhanced the appearance of fine and coarse wrinkles on the face and neck, as well as the texture and appearance of the skin overall.

When combined with a broad-spectrum sunscreen, vitamin C may also help protect the skin from damaging UV rays. Combining vitamin C with other topical compounds, such as ferulic acid and vitamin E, has been demonstrated in clinical studies to help reduce redness and protect the skin from long-term damage caused by damaging sun rays.

Additionally, vitamin C can help lessen the appearance of black spots in our skin by inhibiting the synthesis of pigment. Although the majority of patients in clinical trials reported improvement in their dark spots with no discomfort or side effects, additional research is needed to establish vitamin C's brightening effects.

Additionally, topical vitamin C can aid in the treatment of acne due to its anti-inflammatory effects, which aid in the regulation of sebum (oil) production in the skin. Vitamin C treatment twice a day reduced acne lesions in clinical trials when compared to a placebo. While no major adverse effects associated with vitamin C use were observed in any of these studies, it is crucial to keep in mind that there are only a few clinical trials examining the effects of vitamin C, and additional research is necessary to corroborate the data presented here.

 Pillowcase weekly  hygiene

Beddings

Do you want to have flawless facial skin and glow? then you need to keep in mind that your beddings should be a very big part of your skincare routine. You buy the good products, spend lots of money and lay your head on a dirty pillowcase, well you aren't getting anywhere with that, which brings us to the big question could your pillowcase be a contributing reason to your acne?

And if you think washing your sheets once a week is excessive, wait till you hear how frequently you are supposed to wash pillowcases.

Perhaps you picked at a pimple, underwent surgery, or scraped your knee. Now you're left with a scar–an unsightly reminder of the skin injury–and you wish it would fade away soon.

Therefore, let us examine how a scar forms. Then it will be clear how to minimize the appearance of a scar.

What Causes the Formation of a Scar?

When your skin is injured, your body heals in four distinct phases:

Hemostasis is the process of forming a blood clot in order to halt the flow of blood.

Inflammation develops as a result of the body producing chemical signals at the site and the area's blood vessels dilate. This brings nutrients and inflammatory cells into the wound to aid in healing.

New blood vessels develop during the proliferation phase to replace injured ones. This is referred to as angiogenesis.

This brings nutrients and inflammatory cells into the wound to aid in healing.

Fibroblasts migrate to the wound site and secrete collagen, the proteins that give the growing scar tissue its shape (initially called granulation tissue). Collagen accumulation generally peaks three weeks into wound healing. Additionally,

The ultimate process is remodelling (or maturation). During this time period, granulation tissue develops into scars. Changes in the wound region allow the collagen fibres to lay closer together, resulting in a thinner scar. The scar's strength reaches its greatest level at the conclusion of this collagen organization process, which takes about six months. When the amount of collagen in the skin is insufficient, the remodelling process may result in a concave, or pitted, scar. If there is an excessive amount of collagen, a raised scar may result. The scar may take up to two years to mature completely. This is frequently measured by the degree of redness resolution in the scar tissue.

I decided to change my body cream in summer and I am loving the feeling. The body cream I use in winter was a bit heavy for my skin in summer so I switched to Mixa intensive care dry skin. Tho on this cream it is written Rich body milk, intense nourishment, dry and very skin but it suits the weather perfectly. I wanted a cream that won't make my skin or so oily. It suits my skin in summer but in winter it will be too dry for my skin. The effect lasts for 24hrs as it nourishes your skin intensively to prevent dryness.

Menopause brings about a variety of changes to your skin, one of which is breakouts. You may be curious as to why this is happening and what you can do about it.

During menopause, many women experience changes in their skin. For some women, this means dry skin, age spots, or a bruising tendency. Others see a decline in estrogen levels while male hormone levels, such as testosterone, stay constant, resulting in acne breakouts.

While you may be tempted to reach for teen acne remedies, your skin may not be able to take these harsh treatments as well as it did when you were younger. Look for products that can help clear your pores without overdrying your skin, such as those containing salicylic acid. If your acne isn't responding to therapy, schedule an appointment with a dermatologist.

Finding the right cream formula for your skin type takes time sometimes. When skincare awareness became a song on the media I didn't really focus on it. I used any product with beautiful labels and nice scents but the result started to play out sooner than I never expected. I use to just walk into any store and purchase any cream, I didn't know the importance of sticking to one product that works well on my skin.

I started battling with dry skin and it started to give me concern. I wanted to find a product that will work on my skin, I also wanted a product I can get at any time without having to preorder, or plan so much before purchasing. When making a particular product your product of choice accessibility should always be put in check.

MAY face маска для обличчя Очищуюча bubble mask

I couldn't perform my weekend facial routine because I was so busy. Today I will be sharing a brand I have used before but with a slightly different product.

Honestly, there is no difference in effect between the May face wowi oxy bubble facial mask and this Bubble 02 oxygen mask. The only difference is that the oxygen mask foams more bubbles than the wowi mask.

If you would like to know more about the Mayface facial mask read on.

According to the brand: The oxygen mask MAYFACE is designed to thoroughly care for your skin. It is formulated with milk proteins for intense hydration and softening. Liquorice root extract quickly and permanently soothes the skin, relieves redness, and smoothes peeling. After application, oxygen is released from the active agent and turns the composition into a thick foam. The mask promotes deep cleansing of the skin, minimizing pores. The oxygenated product helps to facilitate cellular respiration, improves skin elasticity, and rejuvenates it.
Тканевая маска с экстрактом кокоса Bonnyhill Coconut Mask Pack.

I am having a lazy Saturday. I was working on the blog, I needed to fix some things and so I ended up going to bed very late. My Saturday routine is a must so I got up and applied my facial mask.

Today I am using the Bonnyhill coconut moisturizing mask pack. The mask isn't so fitted on my face but it is better than a lot I have used in the past. When I applied the mask on my face it felt cold. It is said that coconut oil is easily absorbed into the skin, and provides moisture and nourishment which the skin needs. Tho, generally, it helps to keep the skin healthy.

The instruction on the mask says: After using your face, use a toner to prepare your skin. Apply the mask sheet on your face leave it for 10-20 mins and pat leftover essence lightly until fully absorbed.

What I did: After applying the masking for about 20 minutes, I removed the facial mask and used the sheet to scrub my face, slightly massaging my face to increase blood circulation.
