Design and Durability: Military-Grade Titanium Build
From the moment I unboxed the W70Pro, I could tell it was built differently. Its case combines titanium metal with PC (polycarbonate), making it incredibly strong yet lightweight. This wrist timepiece is not just a stylish accessory; it’s designed to withstand tough conditions. The watch is IP68 waterproof, meaning it can survive swimming sessions and shallow water adventures, and it’s shockproof, scratch-resistant, and operational in extreme temperatures from -30°C to 70°C. Whether you're hiking, camping, or simply navigating a busy city, this watch can withstand the challenges without compromising its functionality.

Battery Life That Actually Lasts
Advanced LED Flashlight and Compass: A Real-Life Example
The first real test of this watch’s outdoor features came the day after Christmas. My partner and I decided to watch the sunset, and afterward, we had to walk along a dimly lit pathway. The W70Pro’s LED flashlight was a lifesaver. Its adjustable brightness levels and SOS mode lit our path clearly, and the built-in compass ensured we stayed oriented even in the darkness. Simple features like this might seem small, but they can make a big difference in safety and peace of mind.

2.01-Inch HD Display and Customization
The large 2.01-inch HD screen makes everything easy to see, whether it’s notifications, maps, or fitness stats. With over 220 pre-installed watch faces and the option to add your own custom photo dials via the “Da Fit” app, personalization is effortless. I love being able to switch my watch face to match my mood or outfit; it feels like having a different watch every day.
Bluetooth Calls and Connectivity
The W70Pro allows you to make and receive calls directly from your wrist, complete with a 360° noise-cancelling microphone and high-quality speaker. Notifications from your phone, calls, SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook, and more arrive instantly. For someone who is constantly on the go, this feature keeps you connected without constantly reaching for your phone.

Hi everyone. You know me, always on the hunt for cool gadgets that actually make my life easier, not more complicated. So, when PLAUD reached out and offered to send over their PLAUD Note AI Voice Recorder for me to test out, I was intrigued. And let me tell you, after playing with it for a bit, this tiny thing is a game-changer.
First off, the unboxing. It’s sleek, it's silver, it's super slim (seriously, 0.117 inches thin – you barely notice it), and it just feels premium. It even won an IF Product Design Award, which honestly, I can see why. Plus, it came with a free magnetic case which is brilliant for attaching it to my phone (MagSafe compatible, score).

So, what exactly is the PLAUD Note and why should you care?
Think of it as your personal, highly intelligent note-taker. Here’s the magic:
- Record Anything, Anywhere: This is key. It has a dual-mode recording system. Want to record a phone call? Just attach it to your smartphone with the magnetic case, press a button, and boom – clear call recording. In a meeting or a lecture? Flip it to "on-site recording" mode, and it captures the ambient sound perfectly. I've tested both, and the clarity is fantastic.
- AI Transcription & Summarization is REAL: This is where the "AI" really shines. Once you've recorded, you connect it to the PLAUD App, and it automatically uploads the audio. Then, the app (which uses some seriously powerful AI models like GPT-4.1, Claude 3.7 Sonnet, and Gemini 2.5 Pro) gets to work. It transcribes everything into 112 languages (wild, right?!), and then – get this – it summarizes it for you.
- For meetings, it can pull out key decisions, next steps, and insights.
- For lectures, it helps create structured notes and visual summaries.
- For interviews, it delivers professionally formatted notes so you can actually make eye contact instead of furiously scribbling.
- Even for quick voice memos, it'll transcribe, summarize, and organize your thoughts into a searchable knowledge base. It even has speaker labels and auto-paragraphing.
- No More Forgetting Important Stuff: Honestly, how many times have you been on a call or in a meeting, thought "I'll remember that later," and then… poof, it's gone? This completely solves that. You can just be present in the conversation, knowing PLAUD has your back.
- Massive Storage & Battery: It has 64GB of local memory (that's about 480 hours of recording) and a whopping 30 hours of continuous recording on a single charge, with 60 days standby. Plus, you get unlimited cloud storage with the app, which is a HUGE bonus for keeping everything organized and accessible.
- Special Offers that are ACTUALLY Special: Mine came with the free magnetic case (which is £23.99 GBP value) and a free Advanced AI Starter Plan (valued at £45 GBP!) which gives you 300 minutes of AI transcription per month. That's a great way to get started and see how much time it saves you.

The stopwatch is also a great feature—it saved me from having to bring out my phone in an environment where I didn’t want to, for safety reasons.
When I used it to pick up a call, it was very clear. You could hear the person perfectly, and they could hear you just as well. The speaker is very active, and I love that. It fits so well and doesn’t leave marks on my wrist after wearing it for long hours.

It has a vibration sensor that alerts you when you have met your targeted fitness goal for the day. Another feature I like is the weather update—I can quickly check the daily forecast without pulling out my phone. It makes life easier by keeping everything in one place.
- Apple Watch battery life: 18–37 hours
- Samsung Watch battery life: Around 48 hours
- TOZO S7 battery life: 7–10 days
While the battery life is impressive, the watch takes only 2 hours to fully charge, adding to the convenience factor.
Since I have tested this watch, I can tell you it lasts more than 7 days without charging. That alone makes it stand out from the rest.
A Brilliant Display
The 1.85-inch AMOLED screen delivers sharp visuals with a 390×450 resolution. Whether you’re checking notifications, tracking workouts, or just admiring a custom watch face, everything looks crisp.
Bluetooth Calling
No need to grab your phone—answer and make calls right from your wrist. Whether you’re driving, cooking, or at the gym, it’s a game-changer for staying connected.
100+ Sports Modes
From running to yoga, this watch tracks it all. If you’re serious about fitness or just trying to stay active, you’ll find a mode that suits your routine.
What makes it so special? For starters, it has a super-responsive 1080p touchscreen, so you don’t even need a mouse to interact with it. It’s a spacious 15.6-inch display that pairs perfectly with 15 to 16-inch laptops.
Setting it up couldn’t be easier. The manual is clear and even includes photos, so you know you’re doing it right. I was excited to try it out with everything I own—it works with my Chromebook, my laptop, and even my phone! Just plug in the cable, and it connects instantly, no extra setup needed.
The Duex Float also has a built-in kickstand, which is amazing for using it on its own without attaching it to the laptop. The kickstand works with any laptop size, but if you prefer the magnetic attachment, they include four magnets for that option too.

I love how portable it is. Its compact, foldable design makes it easy to carry around. There’s also an option to adjust the screen’s color to protect your eyes during long workdays or late nights. The dual-hinge system is incredibly flexible, offering three modes: dual-screen, presentation, and desktop mode. So you can set it up in whatever way suits your productivity needs. As an independent display, it’s perfect for gaming or working with documents, and you can flip the screen around to easily share content with someone in front of you—great for work presentations or even just casual viewing.
One awesome feature is that the screen rotates both ways. You can easily show someone something on the screen without having to move your whole setup, making it perfect for collaborative work. Another person can use the Duex screen while you’re working on your laptop screen, which makes it super practical.
It’s also compatible with Apple Stage Manager for iPad OS! Instead of mirroring content onto a smaller 4:3 view, iPads with M-series processors can display active apps across the spacious 15.6-inch, 16:9 screen. I tested it out with an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and it worked flawlessly. Plus, it’s also compatible with Android devices, so it’s got great flexibility.
When I unboxed the Duex Float, I recorded it because I wanted to capture just how unique and practical the design is. I’ll be sharing my review on YouTube and Instagram reels soon so you can get a closer look.
Here’s what comes with the Duex Float:
- USB Type-C cable with USB-A to USB-C adapter
- HDMI cable
- Magnetic plates
- Adhesive stickers
And some standout features:
- Stacked design
- Two USB-C ports with pass-through charging
- One mini HDMI port
- Built-in kickstand
- Three different viewing modes
Product Specifications:
- SKU: 101-1011P01
- Screen Size: 15.6-inch touchscreen
- Resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Refresh Rate: 60 Hz
- Brightness: 250 nits (adjustable)
- Dimensions: 14.2" x 9.1" x 0.87"

For me, the Duex Float is a total winner, especially for anyone needing a larger screen on the go without much desk space. The HDMI and USB-C ports make it simple to connect to almost anything, and the pass-through charging is a huge plus! Its aluminum alloy frame is both durable and lightweight, which I really appreciate. The stand and monitor are sturdy enough that I don’t worry about it tipping over.
Now, it’s a bit heavier than my laptop, but I can still throw it into my bag for a quick cafe visit and travel with it. But it folds up perfectly, with the screen facing inward for protection. This screen has truly improved my remote work setup, saving me from neck strain and making my workflow smoother. And honestly, it’s making me look forward to work even more—it’s just fun to use!

I took my radio to night prep, which is a time when we all get to read and meet with our study group in the evening. I was a senior student and enjoyed the pleasure of being in senior secondary. I purchased a big radio that has a cassette player, rechargeable lantern, and radio. It was so popular at that time, and if you had that particular brand, you were seen as a big girl in school, so you should have that.
I got carried away one night during night prep because I was so hyped for some reason I can't remember. I was listening to my radio at night prep instead of reading, and the boarding house master came and seized my radio, and you know what? When the school seizes such items, you cannot get them back.
Normally, when we play music late at night, we keep a close eye out for the boarding house master, but I didn't see him coming, and he caught me red-handed.
I missed my radio so much since I loved listening to the midnight blues, and there was a programme that was one of my favorites; it was a programme whereby people call in and express or send love to the people who they love on the radio, or pick a song that the radio host would play for their loved one. I enjoyed that programme so much, but when my radio was seized, I wasn't happy, and my Saturdays were especially boring.
But one day, something happened. I was going to the boarding house master's quarters to buy snacks, and I saw that the master who seized my radio had brought out lots of seized items and kept them in front of his door. There were lots of contrabands seized from students, but I was lucky to spot my radio, and immediately I picked it up, hid it, and walked straight to my classroom. And we lived happily ever after with my radio while being careful.
I have always loved radios, and this Muzen OTR Portable Radio is more than just a small box; it is like my little communication buddy.
So let me start by introducing my buddy; I call her Ogadi, but she is popularly known as the MUZEN OTR Portable Retro FM Radio Bluetooth Speaker-Walnutwood, and she has the following features:
When this radio arrived, it was well packaged. It comes in a light brown leather bag that screams class. Oh my, when I opened the package, I was like, "Yeah, what in God's name is this lovely packaging?" I loved how protected it was from damage.
Here is a picture of the light brown leather bag. This bag can't just be for a radio, no way; I had to take a picture with it to add to my outfit. Isn't it so lovely?

ANTENNA: This antenna is designed to help improve reception on your OTR Wood radio. (Detachtable).

AUX: This is basically an audio input, to which you may attach any player that you choose. This could be anything from an outdated cassette deck to a cutting-edge player like an mp3 player or even a smartphone.

A CHARGING CABLE: This charging cable is also brown to match the wooden colour of the radio. The cable is so durable.

BATTERY LIFE: Wondering how long I use my radio? For me personally, the battery lasts up to 2 days without charging it. Keep in mind that I work and that many times I turn it on by 5:30 p.m. and it stays on until the next day (morning), when I leave for work by 10 a.m. The 1000 mAh built-in rechargeable battery provides 10 hours of playback in Bluetooth mode and 20 hours of playback in FM mode. It has a significant amount of battery life.
A STAND: This gives a more comfortable viewing experience and provides stabilization. In my opinion, this is for aesthetic purposes.
What are vinyl records
In a nutshell, vinyl records are disks that store music. To play the music they need to be placed on a record player and once they rotate with a needle in place, the music starts to play. Typically, the needle runs inwards, starting from the outside edge. Vinyl versions of gramophone or phonograph records are made using polyvinyl chloride plastic, with engravings on each side. You often need to flip the record onto the other side to play the additional stored music.
What happened to vinyl records
As with many other day-to-day concepts, vinyl records were blown out of the water due to technological advancements. Similarly, the way we listen to music has changed over the years. The sheer quantity of music available to us now is almost overwhelming – and it changes in the blink of an eye, with new tracks knocking old ones from the top spot on a weekly basis in the charts. The concept of listening to a single album from start to finish isn’t on the agenda for many of us these days, with so many other distractions on the cards.
Unfortunately, as you get older, you will likely encounter more and more health issues, and hearing loss is one of the most common illnesses associated with old age. There are numerous indicators that you may be suffering from mild hearing loss. If you often mumble to people or have trouble communicating in groups, you might need hearing aids.
What is a hearing aid?
A hearing aid is a device designed to improve hearing by making sound audible to a person with hearing loss. Hearing aids are classified as medical devices in most countries and regulated by the respective regulations. Small audio amplifiers such as personal sound amplification products or other plain sound reinforcing systems cannot be sold as "hearing aids". #wikipedia

With rampant cyber threats, you must keep your laptop free from viruses. A computer virus can result in a damaged OS or even stolen personal data. Here are some helpful tips.
One of the most common ways of getting a virus is by downloading an infected file. Less-known programmes, unauthorised apps, and pirated software often contain malicious code. A good anti-malware package will alert you when something is suspicious. However, it's best to stay vigilant about what you install. Occasionally a virus can be a challenge to remove. However, you can get rid of a potentially unwanted program (PUP) by removing it from your laptop. App removal is the first step. But the effects might also mean you have to reinstall your OS.
Don't Let Others Use Your Computer
While you can do all you can to prevent viruses and malware, others might not be as assertive. In addition, many people often ignore threats or are completely oblivious. For these reasons, you should avoid letting other people use your laptop unless you can monitor them. However, if you can't avoid this, try setting user access controls in your guest profiles. Access restrictions can block specific sites, disallow downloading and severely limit the interaction with your OS. However, as is often the case, user error is likely to cause an infection.
Keep Your Laptop Free from Viruses with Antimalware
Computer viruses are a global issue. Yet, in the United States alone, it is believed that over 30% of computers are infected with some form of virus or malware. While you can never guarantee a 0% chance of infection, you can help yourself immensely with anti-malware packages. Free software offers surprisingly good protection. But you will get the best from paying for a licence. An anti-malware package licence from a reputable vendor isn't expensive. Some of the best for laptops include Malwarebytes, Avast, and McAfee Total Protection.
Never Use Public Wi-Fi
You should never use free public Wi-Fi unless you have no other option. Even though many public services provide excellent internet access, hackers frequently target them. If you don't use a reliable VPN, hackers can steal your personal information over a shared connection. Airports, coffee shops, and libraries are a few examples. Malware and viruses, many of which are capable of going undetected, are other effects of public internet access. Invest in the best VPN software and antimalware you can afford if you must use the public internet.
Install Ad-Blocking Software
Online pop-up ads frequently refer you to dubious websites where viruses and data theft are common. Unfortunately, trying to avoid these is often easier said than done unless you download an effective ad-blocker that prevents you from seeing them. Fortunately, ad-blockers, both free and paid, are simple to find. The price difference is typically related to how well it works. But even if you have an active ad-blocker enabled, you should be careful when browsing the web. Many sites won't allow access unless the ad-blocker is turned off.
You can protect yourself if you keep your laptop free from viruses. Popular methods include vigilance when installing apps, staying off public Wi-Fi, and installing ad-blockers.
How to add someone to WhatsApp without asking for their number
Today, WhatsApp is the primary program that most people use to stay connected. Neither calls, SMS, nor other platforms are as popular as the Meta app in Argentina as well as most of the rest of the world. However, it is a time-consuming procedure. If no one shares the contact information with us, it is time to get a new number.
Fortunately, there are several WhatsApp methods, one of which involves using a QR code to add a contact without asking for their phone number or scheduling it.
The only thing you need to do is be close to the other person and have WhatsApp open on both phones for a simple exchange using the camera.
Alexa and Prime fans who don't mind missing out on a few apps will love Amazon's Fire tablet lineup. With Prime Day approaching, the shop is offering Prime members a 40% discount on its largest slates for adults and children. The Amazon Fire HD 10 has been reduced to $80 from $150, while the Fire HD 10 Kids has been reduced to $120 from $200.
Both include a 10.1-inch full HD display, a 2 GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of extendable storage. It's worth noting, though, that the price is just for the Fire HD 10 with "lock screen advertisements." That means you'll see targeted adverts in the tablet's power-saving screensaver and at the bottom of the main screen. Once you've acquired the service, you'll have to pay a one-time fee to get rid of the sponsored communications for good.
HD 10 at Amazon - $80 Buy Fire HD Kids at Amazon - $12The Fire HD 10 is a great tablet for browsing the web, checking social media, watching streaming apps, and making Zoom calls. The major drawback is the lack of Google apps, as well as a general shortage of apps compared to the Play Store or Apple App Store.
