1. Use natural lighting The first and last hour of sunlight during the day, aka the “golden hours” are deemed the best time to shoot. The soft and diffused light makes for a more flattering photo. If your shooting indoors, aim for a room with plenty of windows and natural light.

2. Get focused Use a manual focus on a mark, or place an object where you’ll be standing (i.e. a rock, tree, or purse), before setting the timer and stepping into the frame. You can also try to autofocus on the object before switching to manual. If you want to blur the background in order to bring out the outfit, you can use a wider lens or higher aperture to do that (ideally f1.8, but f2.5 can work if your zoom lens does not go that wide).

3. Take lots of test shots Most experienced photographers only use 1 out of every 7 photos they take, so patience is key! Get to know your camera and try a variety of poses, movements, shots, and angles to discover what is most flattering for you and your look. You can also set the self-timer to take multiple shots if that setting is available on your camera.

One pose to practice is to center yourself and cover about 2/3 of the frame. It can take a little bit of time and effort to get just the right photo but no mastery happens in a single day’s work. It’s all about practice, practice, practice!

This piece will complete any look, no matter if you wear sporty or preppy outfit. I've got plenty a simple layering ideas for you to try out this year winter but lets start with this.
Today’s trend post is all about hoodies. The sporty style has definitely been on trend the last couple of seasons but the oversized hoodie is something I’ve recently spotted during the last Fashion Weeks.
Hoodies with thigh high boots are the ultimate combo to wear most this winter. I love this contrast of an over-sized sweater with hoodie and a pair thigh high boots. The perfect look to feel comfy and cozy yet sexy and feminine.
As kids and growing youths, we played outdoors with friends, walked to school, and played on sports teams. But what is better for you? Exercising in the great outdoors, or signing up for a gym and pounding away on running machines, as thousands will do as part of their weekly activities.

For most of us, a lack of exercise wasn’t a concern. It turns out that all that fresh air and exercise we enjoyed as kids, and would do well to keep up as adults, offers more in the way of health benefits than most of us ever knew.

During the cold weather going to the gym seems much harder. But for some of us, winter is not an impediment but an opportunity to push ourselves a little harder to run, bike and even swim outside. Outdoor exercise might save you the price of a gym membership, as long as you’re careful.

There has always been a wide speculation about diet and exercise. The question is, which is more effective?.
While hitting the gym has many great health boons, it might not be the best way to lose weight, When you set your sights on weight loss, the formula seems easy: work out more, eat less. But a new study shows that it might be more about what you eat, putting truth to the idiom "abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym."
In 2013, researchers from Loyola University began looking into the relative power of diet and exercise as they relate to moving the scale. They thought they'd discover that exercise would prove to be a crucial component for weight loss. Two years later, though, the science shows that the largest driver behind obesity is not how sedentary people are but instead how poor their diet is.
"Physical activity is crucially important for improving overall health and fitness levels, but there is limited evidence to suggest that it can blunt the surge in obesity," the study authors explained. The more you work out, the more your appetite increases.

Of course, this new Loyola study isn't the first to come to this conclusion. Research has consistently shown for years now that exercise doesn't necessarily lead to weight loss. In a meta-analysis published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics last year, for example, researchers found that people only lost noticeable weight if they combined exercise and calorie restriction.
This is the problem with most weight-loss advice, the Loyola researchers said, which often puts statements like "take the stairs instead of the elevator" or "walk 10,000 steps a day" on par with calorie restriction.

The powers of a steady fitness routine are very impressive, regular exercise can help you build stronger muscles, stave off chronic illnesses, and make your clothes fit a whole lot better. But there's another benefit of physical activity that deserves a shout-out: the way even moderate amounts seem to shave years off your age, no matter how many birthdays you've actually celebrated. Of course, you can't change your chronological age, but exercise can improve your health to the point where you look and feel younger than you are.

But just before the tips and hints on how to look younger without surgery, There is something really practical which I have tested and found useful. Training In the appropriate sportswear doesn't only give you a nice look but adds gear and zeal to your training.
