As usual, when I go out during the weekend I focus on having fun because all work and no play make Melody unhappy. Yesterday was fun-filled but something happened while I was sipping my chilled coco-cola by the bar. The Disk junkie (DJ) was a beautiful vibrant young lady. When I first walked to the bar to get a drink she immediately spotted me and winked at me. Cool lady with a good choice of music.
There were several other people sitting at the bar. I noticed a lot of excited people but there was a young man that caught my attention. He sat with a lady who he came with I guess because they both sat so close and discussed while exchanging smiles a lot. The lady he sat with was focused on him but he could not take his eyes off the disk junkie it was so obvious that my friend also pointed it out to me.
Do you think his actions were very disrespectful to the lady he sat with?

Beautiful dress, Melody! You are absolutely gorgeous! As for the dude who kept checking out the DJ, and whether his behavior was disrespectful, I’d say it depends. First it is more normal for men to keep track about what is going on around them. Second, I don’t think it’s bad for either me or women to notice pretty people. My husband and I both do. But, if the dude quit paying attention to his date because he was enamored with the DJ, then yeah, that’s disrespectful.

I personally don't appreciate when my husband keeps looking on one particular woman but men tend to check good looking women out and I like when someone checks out on me, providing it's not sleazy or offensive. Melody, I love this dress! What a gorgeous color, too! As far as the guy in the bar goes, it is hard to say if he was being disrespectful not knowing the exact nature of his relationship with the girl. They may have just been friends or in an open dating relationship. Or he may have just been admiring someone else's beauty which I see no harm in as we should all appreciate the beauty we find around us. Or he could be a total jerk! Who knows?
