Hello beautiful viewers! hope your week started off well. To the Ladies, as kids we all day dreamed about that special day, when we would walk down the aisle with that special someone. Most of all, the pictures that were created in our little minds, were pictures of a fairy tale wedding: pictures of you as a bride looking smashingly beautiful in that very beautiful ever flowing dress sweeping the floor with the veil gently covering your face. Rose petals lying beautifully on the walk way with family and friends all standing in ovation, and not to talk of your groom, staring in amazement as you approach him, we all thought as kids that it had to be one of the happiest moment of our lives, and ofcourse it should be. But as kids, whoever thought of the face that lies beneath the veil?!,. no one for sure, quess that was just beyond our imagination!.,Bridal makeup as most people would call it, appears usually very subtle with warm colours. So, I used gold shadow on the eyes and smoked out just very slightly with dark purple. Then, I applied a light shade of matte pink on the lips. The "bride" loved her makeup, hope you do too. Makeup, as they say is an art; an art of beauty ofcourse. As a makeup artist, what first comes in mind is the colour selection which can be very tricky. There are a wide variety of colour shades, and combining the different colours is quite tasking, although there are colour wheel templates that can guide one. Personally, bright colours 'scare' me a lot, I always shy away from them, yellow, red, orange, you name them! So most times, I just go for the ' not so very bright colours', you know them, lol!. I am happy to say that this time was different, thanks to my friend and model, she actually picked the colours and encouraged me to use them although, I hesitated a lot to be sincere. But the camera did the magic, I saw the beauty in it through the lens of camera, even when my eyes failed me!.lol! I really appreciate the colours I used now, yellow and red which was slightly smoked out. I didn't stop there, I still went all red on the lips, I really do love and appreciate this makeup, and hope y'all do too. And not forgetting, I also created the hair style, I just split the hair into four equal parts and made buns, I'm sure this takes you down the memory lane as a baby when your mum was your only hair stylist, lol!

Hello, beautiful people! So this time, I decided to leave my comfort zone and use these shades of blue. Blue is a color that just pops and is far from being subtle. I wouldn't call this day-look makeup unless you are more daring than I am; then it could pass for day-look makeup. I didn't just stop at the shadow; I lined the water lines with a slightly darker shade of blue liner, making the eyes pop even more. I finished the look with a warm shade of pink; I just didn't want to go all bold. I also styled the hair. I hope y'all loved it. Please feel free to drop a comment below.
Do have a lovely day, guys!!

For the smokey eyes, I applied an eye primer to give the eye shadow a lasting effect. I used a light pink as a base, then blended it in with silver and applied gold as my transition color, and I finally used black to smoke out. Not forgetting to line the eyes, I used a black eyeliner up and a blue liner down to make the eyes pop. Lastly, for the eyes, I fixed on dramatic lashes to give a chic look.
Getting to the lips, I applied a dark red liner to line the lips and a brighter shade of red lipstick. I finished up the look using an oil-free foundation and pressed powder. My model, as you can see, has an oval-shaped face, so I didn't have to do much contouring; I just blended in the blush and the highlighter just below the cheek bone.

Lipsticks are one favorite make up a ladies love. Portion cosmetics is one outstanding online lipstick store everyone should visit. I always wanted something lovely and lasting which i found in portion cosmetics. Let me start with the packaging, it was well packaged and there were no damages made to the lipys. The lipstick is so cute, i love the golden shinning cover of the lipstick, which gives it a lady like feel. Most of us just like anything that looks good, not minding the quality which to me is wrong. Potion lipsticks are healthy, the have minty flavor and are long lasting. The bodysnatcher vegan opaque dark blue lipstick is one of my favorite, it is a nutrient light weight lipstick made to keep your lips hydrated, it contains a minty (peppermint) oil made to keeping your lips fresh all day. It is a fun color to wear, really cool. It is very affordable ($8) you can get it here.
The second lipstick is the tonic vegan opaque bright lipstick, it is home made, i love this shade of pink and this is the second time i am getting a cool pink shade. It also has peppermint .The shipping is was fast and the response is excellent. Portion cosmetics has other lovely colors like black, green, red, nude etc, you can get them here. Other shades will be specified below. I hope you love the lipsticks, drop your comments below. Follow this blog for more healthy products.
