Text —James 5:13-18 Message Our text illustrates clearly the potency of the prayer of the righteous. Unlimited possibilities abound when prayers are offered from the life of a true righteous child of God. The Lord is far from the sinner, but hears the prayer of the godly. When Daniel and his three friends prayed, God gave a night vision to Daniel that saved many lives in Babylon (Daniel 2:17-19). Prayer on a daily basis is very essential in our walk of faith with Christ. We have to adjust the way we view prayer. Prayer shouldn’t seem like a burden to us. Charles Spurgeon said, “Not to pray because you do not feel fit to pray is like saying, “I will not take medicine because I’m too ill.” Pray yourself, by the Spirit’s assistance, into a praying frame. Pray for spiritual and physical healing for sick family and friends. Pray for excellent performance in every endeavour. Don’t doubt what God can do through you. God is omnipotent and does all things in line with His will and promises. For answered prayers, ensure there is no sin in your life. Quote Don’t doubt what God can do Challenge Prayer is the master key to unlimited possibilities. Prayer for today Oh Lord, teach me to pray, so I don’t fall prey to Satan.
