Wood blossom arrangements have been on the rise recently, with people looking for options that mimic the beauty of fresh flowers while lasting longer. Unlike traditional bouquets, the ones made with wood flowers like infinity roses are a more undemanding, durable, and versatile choice for people who love natural blooms but don’t like to need to replace them constantly.

As a result of this demand, bulk flower packs have opened a gateway to new markets. If you are a business enthusiast, this industry allows you to turn your love of flowers into a successful company. In this guide, you will discover the steps to create a business specialised in this field, from finding the supplies to reaching clients and delivering results. So continue reading to find out how to capitalise on the trend of wooden flowers and live the florist dream!

Step 1. Selecting the Best Bulk Flower Packs and Supplies

In contrast to other types of business, selling bulk flower bouquets can be done anywhere. No matter where you are, people will need floral arrangements for their weddings, baby showers, birthdays, and other special events. However, the critical part is knowing how to market your product and reach your target audience. First and foremost, it’s essential to learn the basics of wood flowers and find a reliable supplier.

Wood flowers are available in 3 different types: raw, with skin, or mixed assortments. The blooms will also come in different varieties, from infinity rose designs to premium orchids, with sizes, textures, and colours. It would be best if you thought about what types of flowers you want to sell and searched for a supplier that sells bulk flower packs (the more you order, the lower the price will be). Other requirements a good supplier should meet include product quality, a steady supply of flowers, and fast delivery times. Finding the right supplier will set the foundation of your business and allow you to continue with the next step.

Step 2. Crafting Your Wooden Flower Business Plan

Developing a comprehensive strategy is of the utmost importance for starting any company, and a business plan helps you define an approach to reaching the desired audience. In the first part of the plan, you should identify your target market by analysing factors such as age and location.

Identifying your target market: Remember that you will serve all customers, from seniors wanting a special anniversary gift to couples looking for the perfect infinity-rose wedding bouquet. As for the location, you will want to be able to ship your products to clients regardless of where they are. For this purpose, you will need to collaborate with a delivery firm and find suitable packaging that will protect the delicate wedding flowers until they reach your customers.

21 Everyday Management Challenges and How to Master Them

Have you ever sat at your desk, already drowning in work pressure, and then looked over at a teammate who was getting hit twice as hard by the manager?

That happened to me recently, and honestly, the vicarious stress was heavy. Watching someone else get squeezed until they're completely drained—while you're already counting down the days until you hit financial freedom just so you can step off the hamster wheel—makes you pause. It made me realize that so much of what we accept as "normal workplace culture" is completely broken. I was actually watching a movie the other day about how terribly we manage ourselves as human beings, and it added a whole new layer to these questions floating around in my head: Why do we let work take so much from us? And why are so many people in charge so bad at actually managing people?

That exact spiral is what made me dive into Caroline Webb’s book, Leadership Intelligence.

I didn't pick it up to read another dry corporate manual. I picked it up because Webb is a behavioral scientist, and she looks at the workplace through a lens that actually makes sense: brain science. She digs into 21 everyday management hurdles, but instead of telling people to "work harder" or "be more productive," she basically calls out how our brains malfunction under threat and high pressure.

Whatever makes you feel good, has a positive effect on the world, and clears your mental space, do it.

For me, sometimes that means getting outside, putting on something comfortable, and taking a walk without having a complicated plan. I have realised that looking after yourself does not always have to mean spending hours in a gym or following an intense workout routine. Sometimes, it can be as simple as walking, stretching, dancing around your room, taking the stairs or just finding ways to move your body that you genuinely enjoy.

There is something about walking in a park that I particularly enjoy. Being surrounded by trees, greenery, and fresh air gives me a chance to slow down and clear my head. It is exercise, but it does not always feel like exercise, and I think that is what makes it easier to keep doing.

The day these photos were taken, I went for a walk in the park wearing the 360 Performance Bodysuit from Humans Being. We had planned to spend more time taking photos, but, as usual, the weather had other plans. It started raining, so we eventually had to leave, but I was still glad we got outside.

The 360 Performance Bodysuit

The first thing I noticed about the bodysuit was how it looked on the body. It has that fitted, sculpted shape without feeling like I was wearing something overly complicated. The green colour also stood out beautifully against all the greenery around me.

Humans Being describes the 360 Performance Bodysuit as a lightweight unitard with a breathable mesh-back bra, light support, a second-skin feel, and a squat-proof design. It is designed to move with you, whether you are working out, running errands, or simply going about your day.

I found it comfortable enough for walking around the park, and I liked that I did not have to keep adjusting it while moving. The fit gives it a very put-together look, so it works as activewear but also feels like something you could style beyond a workout.

You can find the 360 Performance Bodysuit here: Humans Being 360 Performance Bodysuit

The bodysuit is currently listed at £68 and comes in sizes XS to XXL, with colour options including the green I am wearing and white.

Do you know that just like places you go can calm your mind, photos you look at have the same effect?

That exact feeling of visual peace is why I’ve been completely obsessed with this little book lately. It’s called Messing About on the River: Mindful Moments from The Wind in the Willows, and honestly, it is pure comfort in physical form.

It takes all the coziest, most grounded moments from the classic story and pairs them with those timeless, nostalgic illustrations by E.H. Shepard. Flipping through the pages genuinely feels like taking a deep breath of fresh air on a slow morning.

If you’re looking for the ultimate thoughtful gift for a book lover in your life—or just want a sweet, aesthetic piece for your coffee table that reminds you to slow down and romanticize nature—this is it.

  • Why I love it: It’s heartfelt, beautiful to look at, and serves as a gentle nudge to pause.

  • Who it’s for: Dreamers, nature-lovers, and anyone craving a little more coziness in their routine.

Nigerian naturalist Rachel Ikemeh is the 2026 laureate of the Rolex Award for her work with communities in the Niger Delta to safeguard the region’s ecology and the critically endangered Niger Delta red colobus monkey.

One of the 25 most endangered primates in the world, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature, the global authority on the health of the world’s species, is the red colobus (Piliocolobus epieni), a monkey the communities in the area call the epieni. It was first scientifically reported in 1993. At the time, it was estimated that there were roughly 10,000 epieni inhabiting its limited area in the Niger Delta. But by 2013, their numbers had dwindled to only hundreds, not thousands, of individuals, Ikemeh said in a research.

In 2021, Ikemeh and colleagues helped create a community-protected area of 1,010 hectares (2,496 acres) for the epieni in Apoi, a town within the monkey’s habitat.

The monkey population in the community-protected forest had doubled by 2024, from 90 individuals in 2021 to 180-200, Ikemeh told Mongabay in an email. The team has subsequently helped establish community conservation areas in the nearby communities of Garnaut and Kokoloama, she added.

Ikemeh said the medal “feels less like a personal honor and more like validation for the community model itself.
