How to style a draped sleeve a-line sweetheart tulle wedding dress for Christmas

Christmas is coming to you all, and I am so happy about it. I am excited and also happy that I get to wear another beautiful dress to showcase my Christmas style this year. I picked this dress because I wanted to show that you can wear a bridal dress in different ways, even though it was initially made for wedding purposes. Styling this dress and adding a red beret is a way of dressing it down while still looking dressy.

White dresses always look good on me, so I like to wear them. This dress is a bit different from some of my dresses because it is a draped sleeve-a-line sweetheart tulle wedding dress (similar), which I styled as my Christmas dress.

When styling any bridal dress for any event, what makes it different is your accessories. So if you have a wedding dress that has been sitting in your closet, this is the time to bring it out and wear it as a Christmas dress. Here is how to style a wedding dress for Christmas.

1. Add a touch of red. Add the traditional Christmas color by pairing your bridal dress with red accessories. I added a red beret to my look. You can tie a red velvet ribbon around your waist to add a festive touch.

2. Sparkling accessorizes. The holiday is about sparkles and glitters. I wore long, sparkly gold earrings. Add accessories that glitter and shine, like crystal earrings, a glittering belt, and a shimmery clutch. These little touches will give the bridal dress a glamorous and festive charm.

3. Add faux fur. If you are celebrating Christmas just like me in a colder climate, then add a faux fur stole to keep you warm. This adds a wintery touch to the bridal dress and also channels the dress into that dreamy white Christmas dress. Use white or ivory-colored fur to maintain the bridal aesthetic.

4. Add seasonal flowers. You can add poinsettias, mistletoe, or holly to your hair as an accessory.

5. Glitter heels. It all depends on you, but a bridal dress will pair well with heels. You add metallic heels, shoes with glitter, or red heels. Black is also great if you would like to keep it simple and if you already have loud makeup.

6. Christmas-inspired makeup: Try different makeup looks to find one that goes with both the wedding dress and the Christmas theme. To make your makeup stand out, try a bright red lip, shiny eyeshadow, or a small amount of gold or silver. I am already excited about Christmas.

7. Lastly, not all bridal dresses would fit into the Christmas theme perfectly, so pick a dress that has less weight. A-line, fishtail, tulle, sequined dresses, flutter sleeves bridal dresses, ruched sweetheart fit and flare wedding dresses, mermaid bridal dresses, tea length gowns, and empire waist bridesmaid dresses.

My best advice would be to start buying your Christmas outfit now. Dresses are still affordable, and shipping lines are still not highly crowded right now. If you wait until the end of November or the first week of December, you will have to buy things in store, which are so expensive. Here are dresses I recommend for Christmas and also bridal dresses that fit so well with the Christmas theme when accessorized properly.

My white dress fits me so well, and the draped sleeves off the shoulder design is timeless. One thing I like about ever-pretty dresses is that they fit so well, and the quality is amazing. You get to shop so many absolutely elegant and classy dresses, and you all know I love to look good, but keeping it classy is always the goal. If you have a Christmas wedding coming up, dear, you need to shop from Ever Pretty because you get what you ordered. Bridesmaid dresses, bridal dresses, wedding guest dresses, and evening dresses are all available in different styles and colors, and bulk orders are available. I have worn different dresses from Ever Pretty, and their quality is still in perfect condition. You can see some of my dresses from every pretty place here.

Remember, the key is to strike a balance between bridal elegance and holiday spirit. By incorporating these festive elements, you can create a stunning and unique look for Christmas. Enjoy the celebrations!

  4. That's a really cute idea. A pop of red for Christmas with an all white wedding dress. There's just something about red - red birds, red flowers, red fashion. I like the photo with the tree in the distance. You look stunning.
