World Refugee Day: Save the Children

World Refugee Day is an international day designated by the United Nations to honour refugees around the globe. It falls each year on June 20 and celebrates the strength and courage of people who have been forced to flee their home country to escape conflict or persecution
Save the
Children
Save the Children stands with the Black community: Today is Juneteenth, also known as "Freedom Day" or "Independence Day" for the African-American community in the United States. On this day in 1865, enslaved people were informed of their freedom.

Providing lifesaving support for children in urgent need. Rush a donation.

Even before the coronavirus pandemic, more than 12 million child refugees living in overcrowded displacement camps around the world were already vulnerable to infectious diseases – many with limited or no access to health care. Now, these children are more urgently in need of lifesaving support than ever.

These children and the many vulnerable children affected by the coronavirus pandemic and other hardships need our help. That's why we set a goal to raise $75,000 before World Refugee Day ends at midnight tomorrow – but we're still falling $19,731 short of this must-hit goal with time running out. Can the world's most vulnerable children count on you to rush a donation for them right now?
Our teams are working tirelessly across the globe to help as many children as possible grow up healthy, educated and safe, but this lifesaving work depends on the support of people like you. So this World Refugee Day, we mean it when we say your immediate donation has never mattered more:

Please, in honor of World Refugee Day, rush a donation to help provide lifesaving resources and care to the millions of children enduring unimaginable hardships around the world.

Thank you so much for stepping up in moments like this to create lifelong change for the children who need it most.

  1. It's so sad that we don't take care of the kids, the most vulnerable people in society! Thank you for sharing this to raise awareness for the campaign.

Hope that you are having a nice weekend :)
