What Was Your Weekly Win
Happy Friday! The weekend is officially here, and before we dive in, I want to play a quick game. It's easy to focus on the challenges of the week, so let's take a moment to celebrate the wins, big or small. Tell us: What was the best thing about your week? Share your answer in the comments below! I'm so excited to hear your good news.
It may not be a thrilling victory, but I'm proud of it. My son caught a cold, and everything pointed to me getting sick too. Thanks to quick action and the right products, I managed to fight the cold before it even started. Thanks to this, I was able to help my son recover from the illness. This is a huge achievement for me.
ReplyDeleteThat absolutely is a thrilling victory. Stopping a cold in its tracks is no small feat, especially when you’re caring for someone else at the same time. You kept yourself well and helped your son through his recovery that’s a double win. You should be proud, that’s a week well handled.
DeleteIt may be a small victory, but I managed to do a lot of what I planned this week. So today I have time to cook something very tasty :)))
ReplyDeleteThat’s a lovely kind of victory. Plans completed and time left over to enjoy yourself. Having space to cook something delicious is the perfect reward for a well-managed week. What’s on the menu today?
DeleteThis week the good news for me is that my cholesterol levels are just above 200 milligrams per deciliter for total cholesterol.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend.
That’s definitely something to be glad about, progress worth recognizing. Staying just above that line shows the steps you’re taking are making a difference. Here’s to steady improvements and even better numbers ahead.
DeleteWe are on holiday!
ReplyDeleteBut the hotel disappointed us in several respects. Not least because of the lack of cleanliness. We actually wanted to leave immediately... but we calmly and objectively explained the situation to the manager. And some things were improved. We are trying to make the best of the situation!
Best regards from Heidrun
Good on you for handling that with calm and clarity. It’s not easy to do when expectations fall short. I’m glad the manager listened and made some improvements. Now here’s hoping the rest of your holiday gives you more moments to relax and enjoy than to stress. What’s been the best part of the trip so far, despite the hiccups?
DeleteTo be honest getting it through the week despite the daily challenges faced.
ReplyDeleteSometimes just making it through is the biggest win of all. It shows strength and resilience, even when the days aren’t easy. Here’s hoping the weekend brings you a little rest and something that makes you smile.
God helg!
That’s such a heartwarming moment. Helping your mother vote shows care, respect, and the importance of civic duty. Truly a meaningful victory for the week. It’s wonderful that she’s still so engaged at 88. Thank you for sharing that lovely story.
DeleteI was a very good week and I had many of them. The biggest: my health test show that it's not bad. :)
ReplyDeleteThat’s wonderful news. Good health is truly something to celebrate, and it sounds like your week was full of positive moments. Here’s to more weeks like this and even better health ahead.
DeleteMy big win is that I managed to catch up on work at the office after my week away. But now I'm glad it's the weekend :-) xxx
ReplyDeleteThat’s a win worth celebrating. Catching up after time away can feel like climbing a mountain. Now that the work is done, it’s all yours to enjoy.
DeleteIt's not easy to say after yesterday, but maybe finished window decoration, I think. Have a nice weekend and best wishes from Finland! 😊
ReplyDeleteFinishing your window decoration is a sweet victory. Those little accomplishments make a big difference in the home. Sending warm weekend wishes right back to you in Finland. I hope you can relax and enjoy the results of your efforts.
DeleteBom final de semana. Acho que para mim, foi a quarta-feira, creio numa grande vitória. Deus é fiel.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like Wednesday really brought a special moment for you, a victory worth celebrating! Faith and gratitude make victories even sweeter. Wishing you a peaceful and joyful week ahead.
DeleteI had four doctor appointments and every single one of them was good!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeanie. That’s wonderful news. You had a week full of checkmarks in the “win” column. Four for four, now that’s a streak worth celebrating. I hope you carry that same good energy right into the new week.
DeleteWhat's the best thing that happened to me this week, since Monday?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, nothing very special has happened in my life... Routine won...
Melody, I send you greetings and wish you a good weekend!
Sometimes a week where routine “wins” is exactly what’s needed. A steady, uneventful stretch can be a quiet kind of blessing. Thank you for your greetings. Wishing you a relaxing week.
DeleteMy country has been under ongoing revolution against our dictator for a year now, so every student that we manage to release from his prisons is a victory for us, Hope he ends up soon as his colleagues over in Nepal this week LOL
ReplyDeleteThat is a truly powerful victory, even amidst such difficult circumstances. Every student released is a triumph of courage and perseverance. Your hope for change and justice is inspiring, may the momentum continue, and may better days come soon.
DeleteI taught some good and interesting classes this week. That was my weekly win.
ReplyDeleteHi Ivana. That’s a wonderful achievement. Inspiring and engaging students is no small feat, and it sounds like your week was full of meaningful moments. Here’s to more classes that leave both you and your students energized and excited.
DeleteI had good week spent it doing nothing much
ReplyDeleteSometimes a week of “doing nothing much” is exactly what the soul needs, a chance to rest and recharge.
DeleteVolví a escribir mi novela q ue la tenía abandonada. Ten un buen fin de semana.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a fantastic victory. Returning to a project like a novel takes focus and commitment, and getting back into the flow is a big step forward. I hope the words keep flowing and your story grows even more exciting.
DeleteMy weeks and days are filled with everything nice so it's not so simple to pick just one best thing 🍎 but I'll try. Perhaps the best thing was to realize that I now have TWO dance classes every week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, before I had just one ❤️ The best of the two is the Thursday class, a mix between ballet and Latino dancing and all the music there is in Spanish, whch I love. I wish you many lovely things every week!
ReplyDeleteHi Rita. That is absolutely delightful. Doubling your dance classes and finding one that mixes ballet and Latin music in Spanish is a joyful way to move through the week. What a wonderful way to combine passion, music, and exercise. Wishing you many more weeks full of music and movement.
DeleteWe must celebrate everything even if its an small or big winning it all counts!!.

That’s an exciting achievement. Getting called for a job interview is a big step forward and a sign that your efforts are being noticed. Wishing you confidence and success as you prepare.
DeleteIt has been such a difficult week, for me my win is just making it through it.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a real and important victory. Simply making it through a tough week shows resilience and strength. Take a moment to acknowledge that, you’ve earned a bit of rest and peace.
DeleteHappy Friday, Melody!
ReplyDeleteThis week, my best moment was finding peace in the little things a smile, a kind word, a quiet pause. Grateful for that. Wishing you a joyful weekend!
😘
Fernanda !
That’s such a beautiful way to celebrate the week. Wishing you a wee full of more peaceful, heartwarming moments.
DeleteComo no suelo ponerme metas es por ello que creo no soy merecedor de ningún premio.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Even without setting formal goals, making it through the week, handling challenges, and finding little moments of success are all victories in their own right. Sometimes simply keeping steady is worth celebrating, don’t sell yourself short.
DeleteHello Melody :)
ReplyDeleteOn Tuesday my Grandson gave me a lovely present, a thank you gift as he will be leaving next week. It was a lovely surprise as I hadn't expected anything. Just his presence in my home was delightful enough. This week was filled with wonderful moments. On Wednesday I met up with an old french friend of mine, Condessa Jaqueline. We had lunch in a charming place of her choice, a restaurant where the food was delicious. We hadn't seen each other in two years when I had lunch at her apartment overlooking the sea, so we had lots to talk about. Yesterday was family day, when everyone comes for lunch and later for tea. We had a great time playing guessing games after lunch and it was lots of fun as always. Lots to be thankful for!
All the best
Sonjia-
What a week full of warmth and connection. From a thoughtful surprise from your grandson to reconnecting with an old friend and enjoying a lively family day, it sounds like you’ve been surrounded by joy and love. Those moments are the true treasures of life. Thank you for sharing such a lovely snapshot of your week.
What a wonderfully full and cheerful week. Four training sessions, two embroidery pieces, a bike festival with 60,000 people and a rescued zucchini to top it all off. It sounds like you found joy and adventure in both the big events and the little surprises. Thank you for sharing such a lively snapshot. Wishing you many more weeks full of goodness and smiles.
DeleteMuito show tudo aqui. Bjus
