For the past three months, I've been using the Skin Saints Vitamin C Glow Skin Tonic. For someone who doesn't follow a daily, multi-step skincare routine every single night (and I'll be honest, that's me), finding effective yet fuss-free products is key.
My skincare routine is straightforward. I only wear makeup once a week, usually on a Saturday or Sunday. The rest of the week, my skin gets to breathe freely. I genuinely believe this makeup-free time has significantly contributed to the overall health and balance of my skin.
I firmly believe that healthy skin originates from within. What I eat plays a huge role in how my skin looks and feels, and it's something I actively pay attention to.

While I appreciate skincare products, many of them are just mass-market products with logos that don't do anything special for our skin. Some are even harming us. I don't get all hyped up about skincare products.
That's why I decided to share this post about the Skin Saints Vitamin C Glow Skin Tonic. If you're already in a good place with your skin and are simply looking for a lightweight product to maintain that healthy glow and boost radiance, then this tonic might just be for you.
This tonic is incredibly easy to incorporate into even the most minimal routine. It feels refreshing on the skin and absorbs quickly without any residue. The product feels slightly sticky at first, but it quickly dries. The subtle citrus scent is also a lovely little pick-me-up in the morning or evening.
For me, this tonic isn't about correcting major skin concerns. Instead, it's the perfect addition to enhance what's already there. It provides a noticeable boost in radiance, leaving my skin looking healthy, vibrant, and with that coveted "lit-from-within" glow.
My Simple Steps with Skin Saints Vitamin C Glow Skin Tonic
Incorporating the Skin Saints Vitamin C Glow Skin Tonic into my routine couldn't be easier. I typically use it once a day, in the morning after cleansing my face. On the rare occasions I do a more thorough evening cleanse (especially after wearing makeup), I might use it then too, but morning is my go-to.
After gently cleansing my face with water or a mild cleanser, I use the Nuage micellar cleansing water, keeping my cleansing steps quick and easy. While my skin is still slightly damp, I pour a few drops of the tonic into the palm of my hand. Then, I simply pat it gently all over my face and neck. It absorbs almost instantly, leaving my skin feeling refreshed and slightly hydrated, but not at all heavy or sticky. Once it's fully absorbed, I follow up with a light moisturizer. I used to use SPF cream, but I've recently made a change, which I'll be sharing more about soon.
The texture of this tonic is lightweight and watery, almost like a hydrating essence. It doesn't feel thick or oily, which is a huge plus for me as I prefer skincare that feels breathable. The scent is equally delightful; it has a subtle, natural citrus aroma that's uplifting and invigorating without being overpowering. It dissipates quickly after application, so it won't clash with any other scented products you might use.
The results I've noticed, while not dramatic (and as I mentioned, my skin was already in a good place), are definitely noticeable. The most significant change has been in my overall facial complexion, which looks noticeably glowy. It adds a subtle luminosity and a healthy, natural glow that wasn't quite as apparent before. Even on days when I feel a bit tired or my skin looks a little dull, this tonic seems to perk it right up. It's that little extra boost of radiance that makes a difference. Don't expect magic.
I purchased my Skin Saints Vitamin C Glow Skin Tonic from Tesco, but you can get yours directly on their website. This product costs approximately £4. I believe it's also available through some other online websites, so it's worth checking your favorite skincare stockists.
While I can only speak from my experience with it, this product is gentle on the skin. Vitamin C is generally well-tolerated, but if you have particularly sensitive skin, it's always a good idea to do a patch test on a small area of your skin before applying it all over your face. Based on the lightweight texture and natural ingredients, it seems like it would be suitable for most skin types, but individual reactions can vary.
Now, I'd love to hear from you. Have you tried the Skin Saints Vitamin C Glow Skin Tonic or any other Vitamin C tonics? What are your experiences? Do you prefer a simple or more elaborate skincare routine? Share your thoughts and any questions you might have in the comments below.

This is a most encouraging review of a product that is inexpensive and effective.
ReplyDeleteI just thought to share, it is an average product for people with healthy skin.
DeleteNie znam tej marki, ale produkt wydaje mi się godny polecenia.
ReplyDeleteI know right.
DeleteI just started taking Vitamin C.
ReplyDeleteIt is always better to take it under the supervision of a health practitioner.
DeleteThanks for the review. I also don't like thick or oily textures, so the lack of those would also be a big plus for me. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit sticky like I mentioned and overall just a nice product to have.
DeleteHi Melody,
ReplyDeleteI, just today, was wondering in the store which tonic to buy - vitamin C or rose tonic? I bought the rose.
Melody, I salute you and I wish you better weather than mine. Unfortunately, after several hot, sunny days it's now rainy and cold :(
Rose is also nice but read the label.
DeleteYour review sounds very good.
ReplyDeleteIt will definitely be a great product worth trying.
Thank you.
DeleteIt is so hard to follow a multi-step skincare routine every single night! I don't know how people do it so consistently. I just use products that I like as often as I am able. I love what you said about finding effective and fuss-free products. I am with you on that! The Skin Saints Vitamin C Glow Skin Tonic sounds wonderful. I especially love that it is easy to incorporate into your routine. The idea of enhancing what is already there. What a thoughtful review.
ReplyDeleteFor me it is hard to keep to washing my face and applying this and that; I can't live like that. I prefer to eat well, as it works better for me.
DeleteI haven't tried Vitamin C tonic but thank you for sharing your experience.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good and affordable product
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteGracias por la recomendación. Tomó nota. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome.
DeleteWłaśnie szukam jakiegoś toniku. Ostatnio miałam cały czas różane
ReplyDeletePozdrawiam serdecznie
Rose is also a good choice.
DeleteHello, Melody! I think the vitamin C tonic is very useful.
ReplyDeleteIt is for me but not a hard product.
DeleteCreo haber visto unos envases similares al que nos muestras, pero no recuerdo el lugar.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Oh, really? Nice one.
DeleteChętnie go kupię.
ReplyDeleteSure, let me know if you do.
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI've already used a vitamin C tonic and I really liked the end result, but I'm 53, my skin is no longer young like yours which is perfect! I liked the fact that this product gave you more luminosity and a special glow to your skin. I don't know this brand and I've never heard of it, but I didn't think it was expensive! Hugs
Essential
ReplyDeleteMaybe it depends on the buyer.
DeleteSounds like a great, yet inexpensive product. Thank you for your honest review, Melody! xxx
ReplyDeleteThe product is just there and like I said, healthy skin would work better with it.
DeleteAs I'm now 70 years of age, Melody, do you think this type of product would be helpful to me? I do try to not wear makeup every day so as to give my skin a break from that residue. I have noticed that because I've been drinking water with collagen peptide protein supplement, my skin has definitely been more supple and smooth, and joint aches are lessened. There is no fountain of youth, but I love that you are taking good care of yourself while you are young and passing that information on to those who need it. Blessings always!
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring! I liked the review. It does sound rewarding. I will take note. Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteIt likes great for the skin regiment indeed. And I don't wear that much makeup anymore, either. Thanks so much for the post.
