8 practical ways to make money during the lockdown

It is not new that the lockdown is hitting hard on our finances. Acting smart and doing what can profit you in the right way, keep money flowing into your account is the smartest move to make. It doesn't matter how small because that little accumulates into usable funds.
I am sharing 8 practical ways you can generate income during the lockdown. Be very patient to build on whichever you decide to go for.

8 PRACTICAL WAYS TO MAKE MONEY DURING THE LOCKDOWN

1. Convert your shop to an ATM
This is for Nigerian citizens, find out more about it in your own country.

2. Become a delivery driver.
The demand for more delivery workers has increased during the lockdown due to the high demand for food and other items needed from people who stay indoors. Glovo, Uber eats are employing lots of workers. This is a smart way of making money during the lockdown but be sure to be well protected.

3. Get a writing Job.
Most companies are working online due to the lockdown. There is a high request for writers. I am not going to refer you to a particular platform, do the research, and go with what suits you. You can start searching for writing jobs on LinkedIn.

4. Register your car with a taxi company.
This is always a go-to side hustle. Be sure to take protective precautions

5. Buy and sell or clear out yout items.
In as much as this might sound a bit off but it is a great way to make money. People are bored sitting at home all day. Some people just want to shop for fun while some people are looking for sales. If you haven't noticed most online stores are doing lots of discounts, you can take advantage of this.

6. Start a learning forum.
This is a bit tasking because most people follow or key into popular motivational speakers more than people they are just getting to know.
Tip: Make your forum very cheap.

 7. Publish a good book.
People are bored and want more. Publishing a good book is a good way of making money during the lockdown

8. Food and supplies
Cooking isn't one of my favorites and so I buy food a lot. Restaurants are totally closed in some countries while some are still open but work with only delivery services. You can start a restaurant from your home (this depends on the rules and regulations of the country you reside in). Edible items such as Cakes have been in high demand because people want to celebrate even more and feel happy while social distancing is on.
Masks are part of our daily outfits now. This might be this way for sometimes tho we are not happy about the situation of things but while it is still on making masks and selling them is a great way to make money now. Sell on Esty, eBay, Amazon, or any platform in the country you reside in.

“He Asked For Wisdom” Monday, June 16, 2025

Key Verse “Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?” (2 Chronicles 1:10) Text —2 Chronicles 1:1-10 Message William Shakespeare says, “The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.” When God gave Solomon the opportunity as “king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude” (verse 9) to ask what He would give him, Solomon knew he needed wisdom to reign in David his father’s stead. So, instead of asking for riches, power, and other mundane things of this life like the people of the world would do, he asked for wisdom. The Scripture admonishes young people saying, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil” (Proverbs 3:5-7). We all know the sinking feeling we have when we do something poorly. Lack of wisdom brings disgrace and pain but wisdom in trials makes us useful to God and to fellow men. Only wise young people strive to serve God well and have great influence for greater good. Quote Lack of wisdom brings disgrace Challenge Allow God to direct your paths. Prayer for today Dear God, grant me more wisdom, in Jesus’ name.
