So you want to get married ?

When you first get engaged or you decide that it’s time for you to get married, you may often be so excited about everything that’s coming your way. However, you also have to get practical too. Because when the buzz wears off you’ll realize that you have so much planning for you to do now. And to do that, you need to make sure that you’re ready. Here are a few ideas to help you.

Where
To start with, one of the initial choices that you need to make is where you want to get married, and this all works on two levels. The first is where in terms of the country or city. Do you want to get married overseas or your hometown? Maybe even in a different place nearby?

What
And then, you need to work out what you want. Do you want a modern wedding or something really traditional? Do you know what elements of the day matter to you most, or how much you want to spend? This can all help you to work out what you want.

How
Finally, you're also going to want to be sure about how you want to get married. So have that conversation. Do traditions, like in the infographic below, matter the most to you? Or do you want something small and low key? Just be sure you’re aware of all the things that your wedding could be, and choose what’s right for you.
