Saturday errands call for one thing above everything else: comfort that still feels put together.
I reached for my favourite Next orange jumper, my Zara jeans that have definitely earned their place as a wardrobe staple, and my Maya suede clogs by Viva Shoes, which were featured on my blog previously. These jeans have been on repeat more times than I can count, and that's exactly why I love them. The relaxed fit gives me plenty of room to move around, whether I'm picking up a few things, grabbing a drink, or simply enjoying a slow Saturday. Comfort will always win for me.
I finished the look with my white Juicy Couture Jasmine bag, which was part of the beautiful birthday gift my partner surprised me with back in June 2026. Every time I carry it, it makes me smile a little.

Today has been a wonderful day. My day began with a visit to the doctor, followed by going to the library, where I encountered an individual who was exhibiting unusual behavior. He kept walking around restlessly, coming towards the glass area near where I was sitting, which made it difficult for me to focus. His behavior seemed unstable; maybe he was on something; he was sweating and just didn’t seem right. I started to feel uncomfortable, so I decided to leave the library.
I went to the park to let the sun soak into my skin on this beautiful day. But after remembering it’s flu season, I thought better of it and started heading home. I picked up my medication and walked back. Later, I started watching the movie The Life List, based on the novel by Lori Nelson Spielman. It was a familiar plot, reminiscent of other movies I’ve seen, but I managed to resist the urge to write and just relaxed while watching. While watching the movie, I had a sandwich with orange juice, yogurt, and some biscuits. Just before the movie ended, I started to write this post.

I said to myself, baby girl, you are not missing out on an opportunity to wear heels with jeans, which I rarely do, and still feel comfortable and look fabulous.
When I wore the heels, I knew this was the outfit that was going to cause a lot of attention, and with my Ghana-waved braids, I was all set to go.
I went for a private dinner for two, and then we ended up walking the streets of Glasgow before going in October to dance the night away. Well, I didn't dance, but I had a drink and moved my body while enjoying the music.

The weather fluctuates a lot around here, and sometimes I don't want to go out because a sunny day can turn into a rainy one.
