We can officially say it’s summer! Or, for those of us here in Scotland, we can call it "Scotland summer"; our summer definitely doesn't last long, but come on, why not just enjoy it while we have it? Yesterday was warm, today was lovely too, and we’ve got a bit more sunshine ahead. I'm hoping we get an even longer stretch of this gorgeous weather!
Before the weekend ends, I wanted to jump on here and make a quick post about Catrice beauty products I've been using for 2 weeks. Let's discuss the price first, because honestly, it is so good. The price is a wonderful 3.49. There are so many lip glosses and lip "fillers" out there that are just far too expensive. Personally, I prefer products that actually work and are affordable. I don't see any reason to spend a fortune on a single lip product. Of course, if you truly love a specific brand or wish to buy into the hype, feel free to do so.
I’ve been testing these out for more than a week now. As you know, whenever I accept a brand collaboration, I always make sure to thoroughly try the products first. They sent me their entire line of lip liners and filler supreme lip gloss, and, just to clarify, it’s not an actual injection! "Lip Filler" is just the name of the gloss.
My Review & Rating
The Lip Fillers: 9/10

This brand has done an incredible job balancing price, texture, and quality. I absolutely love that almost every single lip filler has a matching lip liner color, which makes styling them so easy. While I'm looking forward to combining them more, I’ve mostly been wearing the lip fillers completely on their own.
If you love a high-shine lip that stays hydrated—especially during the summer—I highly recommend these. I already shared them on my Instagram as part of my summer vibes, and it’s easily become one of my seasonal essentials. It’s a fantastic product for the price point and the quality it delivers. Plus, if you're someone who likes to buy lip sets so you have every single shade, this collection is perfect for you. (And for my girls who don't like color, they even have a clear, transparent gloss with a beautiful texture you'll love!)
Other than that, not much else is going on over here today! I’m just relaxing at home, soaking up the rest of the weekend. I can't say I'm exactly thrilled for Monday, but I'm making sure to get enough rest today so I’m fully energized and ready to work efficiently tomorrow.

DeleteA very informative post on this product. No, I have never heard of it but that's not unusual. I don't wear any kind of makeup. Not even lip gloss. With lupus I have to be very careful what goes on my skin. However, on you it is luscious!

Honestly, yes. Dropping a fortune on high-end cosmetics when the drugstore stuff works perfectly fine is just a scam at this point. A solid lip gloss, a swipe of lipstick, powder, and a good perfume are literally all you need to feel put together before walking out the door. It's simple, it's cheap, and it works. I hope you have a killer week ahead too, Anna!

Oh my god, the "ate the food before filming it" struggle is so incredibly real! When you're that hungry, survival instinct completely takes over and the camera doesn't stand a chance. Deletethere's a song called 'summer son' by the band texas. they scottish, despite what their name might suggest. i guess the title is a wordplay, given that 'sun' and 'son' have the same pronunciation.
