Other examples: when I go to bed, I like to read a book, and I have the lights on, and my phone charger is plugged into the power outlet.

  7. The big picture is an ongoing problem in my area. With a nuclear power plant in our area water conservation is paramount. NONE of that power is consumed in this area. Now a data center is being planned. The residents are up in arms because of the strain it will put on local resources. Rightly so since local government has a history of ignoring the citizens they represent. This is a good heads up to the dangers of technology gone rampant.
