i've attended the art academy, as every friday evening. tomorrow morning i'll give a maths class to a twelve year old child. after having lunch, i'll visit a woman whom i love to talk to, she makes everyone feel peaceful and relaxed. at night, i'll draw a portrait of sarah cracknell, vocalist of 90s indie band saint etienne. maybe i should leave something for sunday, which is the most boring day of the week for me...

Today is the last day of my sale, so I'll be there in the day, at "Othello" this evening and unpacking from the sale tomorrow, then filling a couple of mail orders and gearing up for next week, which has doc appointments and hosting a belated birthday party (a soup party for four), so I need to get to the store. I'm tired before I begin!

In my age, Melody, I have retired from my job. So, I have no the pressure of time in the working days. So, weekends for me have no the old meaning of time. But in any case, weekend has its own beauty and meaning because the whole life around us is changing. By the way, you have my best wishes for a fine and beautiful weekend, my dear.
Este fin de semana no hice ningún plan ya que teníamos alertas todos días por la borrasca Claudia. En la zona donde vivo yo han sido días otoñales de lluvia normal, pero hubo zonas en que se desbordaron ríos. Cuando publico el comentario no se de desgracias mayores y espero no escuchar o ver.
I was looking forward to sleeping in and rest, as I'm recovering from a cold. The rainy weather isn't very conductive to outdoor activities, alas ... I hope your weekend plans are a bit more exciting than mine :-) xxx

I was looking forward to this past weekend for a long time -- I had a big party planned to celebrate my recovery from illness. The event, Saturday night, was wonderful. Our friends all came and had a great time. Hope your weekend was fun, too.
Even though Mr. M. and I are retired, we still look forward to the weekend. Phone calls to the kids and grandkids, I made a new kidney friendly stir fry, and we just enjoy each other.
Friday night we are invited to friends for dinner - we are a group of 12.. I don't have plans for the rest of the weekend, but we will probably go to the beach on Saturday.
