Join the movement! Bridge the Gap for Girls

You might be surprised to hear that even now, in 2020, girls around the world are facing gender-based discrimination, violence and child marriage. Here’s your chance to do something about it.

Walk with us! Join our Bridge Challenge! Learn more.

Encourage girls to speak out!

Challenge unfair laws, policies and norms!

Save the Children puts gender equality at the heart of everything we do.
As the world’s leading expert on childhood, we start right from birth, giving children a healthy start. Since 2000, we’ve helped achieve a 25% decline in child marriage worldwide – and empowered 11 million girls to stay in school. (Educated girls are more likely to transition to a career and decide for themselves when they’re ready for marriage and motherhood.) And we work with boys, men and parents too, to fight gender bias in families.

Watch for more news from our gender equality team in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8. Together we can bridge the gap between the challenges girls face and the futures they deserve.

  4. Bridging the gap is is so important for females. I also LOVE that they're working with males to change THEIR views on females too. I think the latter is just as important if we want to create real and effective change.

“Exam Success 1: Group Study” Saturday, May 24, 2025

Key Verse “And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken” (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Text —Ecclesiastes 4:4-7 Message Our text reveals that God chose 300 men for Gideon to conquer the multitudes of the Amalekites and Midianites, the initial prophecy was that he would conquer the Midianites as one man (Judges 6:16). God was going to deliver Israel from captivity by one man – Gideon. However He chose 300 men to assist him. David had his mighty men, Daniel had his friends, and Jesus had a team of 12 disciples. Group study is a learning process through student led workshop, group discussion, peer-to-peer learning and group-centred activities, in order to attain academic goals. It offers opportunities for students to learn from one another. Some students learn better when a fellow classmate explains a particular concept in a language they understand. Sometimes as students, you need to study in groups, discuss difficult concepts, ask questions and find answers to such questions from your peers who are good at such subjects. With these tips, you can top your class with high grades. When believers work hard together as a team so as to accomplish God’s plan for their lives, the result is always tremendous. Quote Jesus had a team of 12 disciples Challenge Your grades can improve through group study. Prayer for today Oh God, choose the right study peers for me in Jesus’ name.
