Notre Dame Cathedral Fire in Paris

Paris iconic tourist attraction caught fire and almost burnt down before firefighters finally stopped the fire. This is a sad situation and according to washingtonpost Paris — With its iconic cathedral  Notre dame scorched but still standing. France on Tuesday was contending with the aftermath of a fire that gutted a symbol of the nation, and which authorities said had probably started by accident.

Following the words from Ap News stated that The French president pledged to rebuild a cathedral that he called “a part of us” and appealed for help to do so. The 12th-century church is home to relics, stained glass and other incalculable works of art and is a leading tourist attraction, immortalized by Victor Hugo’s 1831 novel “The Hunchback of Notre Dame.”

I have not yet visited Paris and this is so sad because I always see this iconic building on travel blogs/websites and was very hopeful that one day I will step my foot in the land of Paris to visit all the tourist attractions.Investigations will begin soon and hopeful the rebuilding of the Notre Dame Cathedral begins afterwards.
