When I was teaching it seemed like I went to work in the dark, came home in the dark and only could see the sun from inside through the windows. It makes happier to get out in it.   7. Keep in mind that I prefer summer to winter, especially for the extra hours of sunshine. Now that the days are definitely shorter, whenever I can I lean out onto the balcony or window, and even when I'm walking, I like having the warmth of the sun on my skin. Then you rightly said and wrote about all the benefits that the sun has!

    One of the reasons I hate winter is the lack of sun, the grayness, the cold, the snow, the short days, and the stupid winter time – we are robbed of one hour of brightness!

It's overcast most of the time here where I live on the Oregon coast. However, when the sun shines you will find me basking away in it. Have a lovely day today.
