Ukraine shuts down schools from the 13th of March 2020 (3 WEEKS QUARANTINE). Foreign students are not allowed to travel.  Sortin possible ways to reduce the contact of Coronavirus.

It has been reported that starting from the 13th of March 2020, students in Ukraine are to stay indoors and start distance learning for 3 weeks. It was also said that foreign students will not be also allowed to travel outside Ukraine during the quarantine period.  This is due to the ongoing outbreak of Coronavirus in the world. It was announced today as it is said to help restrict the movement of people thereby reducing the spread of the virus. The suspected cases which have been reported currently in Kharkiv city Ukraine, are six students from China who were said to have been in contact with a carrier of Coronavirus.
“Now patients have been placed in special boxes, and doctors are monitoring them. We specialize in respiratory infections and monitor them dynamically,” - Pavlo Martov, head physician of the hospital, stated. News source.

As we all know, coronavirus is the issue the world is facing at the moment. Everyone is not just talking about this virus but also taking preventive measures. Turkish Airlines has taken time out to put out safety precaution to all customers Stating that:

The safety and well-being of our passengers and crew is our utmost priority at Turkish Airlines. Since the first reports of the Covid-19 outbreak in the news, Turkish Airlines has followed the developments closely, considered the probable scenarios at the highest level, and taken all the necessary measures.

1. Aircraft must undergo a thorough cleaning process upon completing the flight.
Upon completing a flight, all Turkish Airlines aircraft undergo a thorough cleaning process, in compliance with the national and international civil aviation authorities’ guidelines that include the wiping of the commonly-touched surfaces in the flight cabin and lavatories including toilets, tray tables, armrests, seatbelt buckles and in-flight entertainment screens with disinfectants.

2. Beddings and headsets are all replaced with fresh sets.
All blankets, linens, headrest covers, bedsheets, and headsets are replaced with fresh sets for each flight.

So after attending church service on Sunday, I decided to have a little merry to celebrate the women's day by going to a restaurant. I ate some potatoes, Caribbean chicken and waffles.

While sitting down after my meal and enjoying the calm cool music, two people walked into the restaurant, a beautiful lady and a man. They sat not too far from my table. After they sat down, the man introduced himself to the lady and she did introduce herself to him in return, and immediately I knew they were just meeting for the very first time. It didn't take up to a minute, the guy started talking about all the properties he owns, he said he has houses in California, Miami, Europe and that his company bought Viber,  he mentioned the name of the company to her and immediately I browsed the company that owns Viber and it was totally different from what he mentioned. He was really loud, I guess it's because Ukraine isn't an English speaking country so he didn't expect that anyone around could understand him.

I started feeling really bad for the lady. This is a Ukrainian lady but she could speak English. He didn't give her any audience to tell him about herself, he just kept on talking about properties, business meetings and travel experience.

What blew my head was when he said he came to Ukraine to take a Ukrainian princess and that he wants to marry her, like serious! !they were meeting for the first time. The lady hardly said a word. He did all the talking and even mentioned that he loves all the dishes in the world, he loves to learn languages and he will also like if she could come with him to India for a business meeting. I knew she was in for a disaster, it's either this was just a guy who wants her for sex or a guy who actually wants to take her to India for sex trade. (This is my opinion).
There is never a justification for child abuse of any form. The murder of Gabriel Fernandez was done coldly and preplanned in my opinion. He was exposed to repeated maltreatment with an end aim of death. The defendant claims it was out of anger but this has been done several times and this child has been tortured and stressed mentally. I always tell my friend, that family doesn't always mean connected by blood and this case has proven it, as Gabriel Fernandez, a child, helpless and with the heart of a child couldn't do anything but go through such ill-treatment from a man 10 times bigger than him who happens to be his mother's boyfriend.

This is a documentary on Netflix that also exposed a failed system in America after everyone who was supposed to look into Gabriel's case failed him. He was killed by his mother's boyfriend.  This case is very sensitive and complicated as many people are being held responsible in connection to neglect for the death of Gabriel Fernandez. Gabriel was isolated from playing with his siblings and beaten regularly.

Gabriel is an eight-year-old boy from Palmdale, California. Watching this documentary broke my heart because I could feel that Gabriel had so many unanswered questions such as
Does anybody love me?
Does my mum love me?
Where is my uncle?
Where is my teacher?
Why is this guy that calls himself my mother's boyfriend doing this to me?.
Sadly he got no answers before he left this cold world to his eternal resting place.
Gender equality is not only a fundamental human right but a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable future. Worldwide, patriarchal gender norms and discrimination drive violence against women and girls.

Our vision is for a world where all girls and boys are equally heard and valued, where they have equitable access and time to devote to education, to work, to rest and to play. This is a world built on transformative change – to the dismantling of patriarchal, discriminatory gender norms and the inequalities they sustain. These norms affect both boys and girls but have a disproportionate impact on girls, preventing them from claiming their rights, exposing them to harmful practices, driving rights abuses in their homes, relationships and communities, and through embedded structural inequalities that shape their lives from childhood through adulthood. Some girls face even greater challenges due to multiple and intersecting forms of deprivation and marginalization based on poverty and characteristics such as ethnicity, displacement and location. The world we want is a world in which no girl faces gender-based discrimination, suffers violence or marries before her 18th birthday, and every last girl fully enjoys her right to be protected from harm, to learn, survive and thrive. Her world is one in which her aspirations know no limits and she is free to fulfil her potential, to have equal opportunities, to decide her own future and empower those around her.

When girls are educated, empowered, healthy and free from violence and discrimination, their communities are more prosperous and stable. Investing in gender equality is not just the right thing to do – it’s the smart thing to do. But girls around the world still face lifelong gender-based inequalities that begin in childhood:

Sexual and Gender-Based Violence:
Around 120 million females (almost 1 in 10) have been subjected to forced sex or other forms of forced sexual activity.[1]
Girls represent nearly three out of every four child trafficking victims, with the majority trafficked for the purposes of sexual exploitation. [2]
By 2030, over 150 million more girls will marry before they are 18 - despite global progress. Today, the poorest girls are 4 times more likely to marry in childhood than the richest. [3]

Health
Complications during pregnancy and childbirth are the number one cause of death of girls aged 15-19 worldwide. And 90% of births to girls aged 15-19 occur within marriage. [4]
Around three-fifths of all maternal deaths take place in humanitarian and fragile contexts. [5]
Every day, 507 women and adolescent girls die from pregnancy and childbirth complications in emergency settings. [6]
Malnutrition poses a variety of threats to women and girls specifically, including weakening their immune systems making them more susceptible to infections and impacting their capacity to survive childbirth. Children born of malnourished women and girls are more likely to have cognitive impairments and a higher risk of disease throughout their lives. [7] Adolescent girls are particularly vulnerable to malnutrition because of the increased rate at which they are growing and their bodies are changing. Adolescent girls need protein, iron, and other micronutrients to support this growth spurt and increased iron during menstruation.

Education:
130 million girls between the age of 6 and 17 are out of school. [8]
Girls are more likely than boys are to never set foot in a classroom. [9]
Girls living in countries affected by conflict are 2.5 times more likely to be out of school than boys are. And adolescent girls affected by conflict are 90% more likely to be out of school than girls living outside of conflict-affected contexts. [10]

Time deficit:
Girls account for two-thirds of all children who perform household chores for at least 21 hours per week. And girls are more likely than boys to perform double work duty- meaning both works in employment and in household chores. Research suggests chores that take up at least 21 hours or more a week negatively impact the ability of children to attend and benefit from school. [11]

Here are thousands of campsites to choose from in the UK, in rural settings that range from panoramic pitches in the Scottish Highlands to wooden pods with decks that jut out over the Lake District’s Windermere.
To help you whittle down the selection, here are the UK’s seven best-loved campsites according to global travellers – promising an invigorating break and the chance to enjoy Britain’s natural beauty up-close.

Orchard Farm Luxury Glamping in Somerset

Enjoy cider brewed from this campsite’s orchard on your pod’s private terrace
This farm campsite can be found just outside of Glastonbury, a pretty Somerset town that has a lot more going for it than the nearby eponymous festival – namely mythical, medieval monuments, boutiques peddling spiritual wares, and pubs with beer gardens serving local mead. You can pitch your own tent or caravan in the campsite, or guests can ‘camp’ in wooden pods placed around the farm’s apple orchard (one for those who want to get closer to nature but with a little luxury and comfort thrown in). Guests are welcomed with fresh flowers, homemade apple juice and home-brewed cider from the farm’s orchard yield – best enjoyed in dappled sunshine on your pod’s private terrace.

Llethrau Forest & Nature Retreats in Mid Wales

Wake up to the sound of birdsong and wind whistling through the trees at this campsite
This remote retreat promises a camping experience where you’ll feel totally immersed in nature, waking up to the sound of birdsong and wind whistling through the trees. There’s a range of accommodation available, from yurts and cottages to huts constructed within the woods, each with large decks that overlook the rolling Welsh hills. Explore the retreat’s four acres of wild gardens and 20 acres of woodland before enjoying a slap-up meal of local produce cooked on your cottage’s Aga and a lantern-lit soak in your hut’s wooden bathroom.
Sadly, Doctors are getting infected from treating Lassa fever patients. In Northern Nigeria, there is an outbreak of Lassa fever in more than three states and it is fast spreading to other parts of Nigeria.

Lassa Fever does not get the attention that Ebola does which is unfortunate because it is almost as serious. The symptoms get very serious for a lot of people, which include bleeding from the eyes, nose and gums. Being unable to breathe, pain in the chest, back and abdomen, hearing loss, swelling of the brain. Death after multiple organ failure after 2 weeks of pain and suffering.

Donations are needed to provide Doctors with adequate protective wears and tools to encourage them to save more lives and also protect themselves. It is very heartbreaking to lose a Doctor on a mission. We are calling on you to help us protect Doctors. By donating to buy more protective equipment so Doctors can help people in the rural areas who are less cared for.

Due to the language difference in some regions, we also need translators to help communicate effectively about prevention, reinfection and daily hygiene to the locals. Please help us protect our Doctors and healthcare workers while fighting this Scourge.

Valentine's day is around the corner. If you are single and do not have a partner to celebrate valentine's day with, it is very normal, nothing is wrong, you are doing just fine.
To some Valentine's day means a lot while to others it is just like every other day. This is a brief article on what some single ladies and men do wrongly on Valentine's month.

1. Answer every call and reply to every chat in the month of February.

Most single people tend to pay attention to almost everybody that texts or calls in the month of February hoping to be someone's valentine. They reply to everyone, act cool and nice just, so they can be asked out on a date.

2. You buy a gift for yourself, post it on social media, and lie that someone got you a gift
You really have time for shit and nonsense honestly. Image result for liar gif

3. Stop the whole Snapchat and Instagram post of  I am single, I don't have a valentine and I don't care.
Well, if you don't care then we also don't care to know, keep it to yourself, stop the cheap publicity.

Are you guilty of overpacking when you go away travelling? Most of us are, when you love fashion, it’s so easy to get carried away with clothing- especially when we’re travelling to a climate that allows us to have fun with our look in ways that we can’t always do at home. However, if you want to keep things more simple, avoid excess baggage costs or save space in your suitcase for holiday purchases, then there are some steps you can take to slim down your case without having fewer outfits. The capsule wardrobe allows you to use every piece you take to its best potential, and despite bringing fewer articles of clothing, you still get a huge mixture of different outfits. Here are some ways you can go about it.

It is winter season and the cold isn't so friendly. Of all the recent coat designs in the last 5 years, I will say puffer coats are the best. They are so warm and still gives you a chic look. I love to wear comfortable fashionable coats during winter but most times pretty coats are light and not so covered. Puffer coats and teddy coat do the job. Some puffer coats are waterproof and they are very durable.

Puffer jackets feel like you are wrapped inside a duvet and you just go out with such a warm feeling. When purchasing puffer jackets/coats here are things to consider.

1. Buy one size bigger (The bigger the better).

2. Buy puffer coats with bigger collars. (Hoodies).

3. Buy puffer coats with long length (Maxi puffer coat cover more).

4. Black puffer coats are more versatile.

5. Cropped puffer coats are fashionable but what about your lower body parts.

Gidan Makama Museum which is also known as Kano Museum is a museum in Kano, Nigeria. I enjoyed visiting this place, we weren't allowed to take photos in specific places. There are different artworks from centuries. I also learnt about how the British people invaded the north. The building served as the temporary palace of Kano before the current palace Gidan Rumfa was constructed in the 15th century.

The museum has a significant collection of arts, crafts and items of historic interest related to the Kano area. Located in a 15th-century historical building, which is recognised as a National Monument by the Government of Nigeria. The museum is divided into 11 galleries, each with their own centre of focus. Galleries include the Zaure or the main entrance hall with displays of traditional materials, city walls and maps of Kano, the history of statehood, Kano in the 19th century, the Civil War, economy, industry and music.

Entrance fee: 100 naira
No photos allowed inside the museum.

Today is the 1st of January 2020, and I am so excited about my new projects and family. I wish you all a happy new year and a beautiful, stress-free vision for 2020.

If you are a Nigerian that travels frequently by air you must have noticed a lot of new airlines, some succeeded while some airline companies didn't make it to the top. Nigerian flights are mostly direct flights. If you have been to Kano state from Port Harcourt city, then you should be aware that there are no direct flights from Port Harcourt to Kano. The 1st time I travelled from kano to Port Harcourt I used Azman air. It was pretty fast and kept to time. It was not a direct flight so when we stopped at Lagos state, we were directed to stay at a particular place while we wait for the time of our take off to Port Harcourt. We got port Harcourt on time and it was a smooth flight.

I needed to book a flight back to kano from port Harcourt, so I began the search. I came across air Peace which was available but was ridiculously expensive price-wise, it was more than 60,000 naira for the local flight and it was being offered by a third party booking website. I got discouraged and decided to book a flight going to Abuja or Lagos then book another flight from there to Kano state, meaning I had to book two direct flights and flight timing in Nigeria is very delicate because most airlines fly around the same time. I closed my laptop that night feeling a bit sad about the situation. I woke up at 4am to search for flights going to Kano, I just wanted to give it one more try before taking the final decision. I went on Wikipedia to search for all the flight companies in Nigeria, that was how I discovered Maxair. I followed the link to the website and I searched for a flight going to Kano from Port Harcourt and it was available tho it wasn't a direct flight but it was a cheaper option. I booked the flight immediately to pay later in the morning.

I booked the flight without payment on the 21st of December 2019, 4:39am.
I paid for the flight in the morning and the payment confirmation was sent to me via email but the flight itinerary wasn't sent to me. I called all the numbers on their website severally but none went through. All the numbers were either switched off or the call was forwarded which never went through. I got worried and called a friend of mine working with the Nigerian immigration service to confirm if this airline actually exists and he confirmed that it does. I reached out to other people to help me try the numbers on their website and only one person was able to reach out to them later that day. The lady who answered the phone said she was at another branch and that we should call the Port Harcourt branch which wasn't going through. We insisted that she looked into the issue and explained to her that all the numbers on Maxair website are either not connecting or not available. She asked that my flight details and payment confirmation be sent to her via WhatsApp chat. It was sent and she said she was going to get back to us. We waited and also sent an email but no reply. The email was replied the next day which was the 22nd of December 2019,  the day I was supposed to fly to Kano state.
All endeavour to sort out my ticket issue failed. I decided to go early to the airport because my flight time was on a Sunday. I left home by 12:15 and got to the airport by 13: 25. My flight time was for

On getting to the airport I went to Maxair stand at Port Harcourt international airport Omagwa and tabled my complaint about my flight itinerary not being sent to my email and I was asked to wait for an hour for my details to be sent to the manager in charge of flight bookings. After an hour I went back to the max air stand and they asked me to wait a while which I did. In less than 3 mins after waiting for 1-hour a man walked up to me, he works with Maxair,  he had a big smile on his face. He said to me smiling "you won't be flying today because we didn't receive your payment".  He was smiling like it was good news and that provoked me so much. I asked him how can my account be debited, payment confirmation sent to me via email and you tell me you didn't get the payment. He said I needed to contact my bank for my money.

Here are the payment confirmations.

Immediately another man working with Maxair shouted from inside, with no professional approach, just buy another ticket and ask your bank for your money, I had no choice, I needed to fly so I did. The ticket price on the 21st December 2019 which I paid for was
